Belkin Boost-Up Wireless Charging Dock for iPhones & Apple Watch

(Last Updated On: November 13, 2018)

Apple is known to be one of the largest tech companies on the planet, and they’re also one of the most innovative, too. Well, actually, that can be a personal preference on whether or not you think Apple is innovative with their products or not.

Where is Apple’s AirPower?

That said if there was one product that Apple was being quite innovative with, it would have had to be their AirPower Wireless charging pad. Yes, a product that wasn’t an iPhone, MacBook or iPad was being rather hyped.

For good reasons, too.

As Apple’s AirPower wireless charger was going to be able to wirelessly charge a Qi-compatible iPhone such as the iPhone X, XS, and XR. Additionally, it would also have been able to charge an Apple Watch and Apple AirPods, all at the same time.

Wireless charging alone isn’t that big of a deal with single wireless charging pads. However, with multi-wireless charging pads, they basically change the game as charging is treated as more of a standard.

Unfortunately, news on the release of the AirPower has halted and we’re not sure if we’re ever going to get the AirPower now.

At Least We’ve got Belkin

Don’t fret, though. There are alternatives to multi-wireless chargers that you can use. Such as this Belkin Boost-Up wireless charging Dock.

Belkin is actually a strong partner with Apple, as they sell their wireless charging pads in the Apple Store. So it’s not too much of a surprise that Belkin has stepped up to the plate and offer an alternative.

So their Boost-Up wireless charging dock features three ways to charge. Two charging methods are wireless, one is a stand to place your iPhone on the other is a stand to place an Apple Watch on and charge.

Fast Wireless Charging for Qi iPhones and even Features a USB-A Port

The one other charging method is a USB-A port at the back of the charger that can be used with any cable to charge a smartphone or a tablet.

The Belkin Boost-Up wireless charger might not be exactly like Apple’s AirPower wireless charger, as you can only wirelessly charge two devices at once. However, the good news is that fast wireless charging is available for iPhones, meaning that they will charge at a 7.5W charging speed.

Along with the charging stand, it even comes with an AC adapter that you’ll use to power the wireless charger.

Overall, if you’re still holding out on the elusive AirPower wireless charging pad from Apple, we think that it’s best to move on and consider this Belkin Boot-Up Wireless Charging Dock.

It’s Got Power, three options for charging and ease of use with it including everything that you need.
