Best 10,000mAh Power Banks

Power banks have grown a lot in the past few years and this has caused there to be many brands to enter the space of portable charging. This is a really a good thing as it has improved the type of portable chargers that are available to consumers, and now there are many types of power banks on the market that you can choose from.

There are small ones that have low power capacities and are very easy to take anywhere with you, but at the same time, those type of very small power banks are also only useful for charging a smartphone to full power only once. Then on the other side, there are high capacity power banks and these types of portable chargers are one the most useful on the market as they have a lot of power capacity to use to charge tablets and smartphones to full power multiple times. That said, high capacity power banks are also quite large and heavy.

With all that said, there’s a type of power bank that is basically right in the middle and has the perfect balance between charging power and portability. Power banks with 10,000mAh power capacities are basically one of the best portable chargers to get if you want to have a portable charger that you can easily take anywhere with you, while at the same time not having to compromise a whole lot of power for that portability.

In this guide, we’re going to mention the best 10,000mAh power banks so you can choose to have the best type of portable charging experience.

Anker PowerCore 10000 Portable Charger

pic-1

First 10,000mAh power bank that we’re recommending comes from a top brand in the charging electronic space and it’s also one of the best-selling 10,000mAh power banks. This is Anker’s PowerCore 10000 portable charger.

As we said at the beginning of this article, a 10,000mAh power capacity is really where power banks are able to still be very portable and this PowerCore 10000 charger provides that. As this charger has a length of 3.6 inches, a width of 2.3 inches and a thickness of 0.9 inches. The weight of the power bank is 6.3 Ounces. So this charger is can easily just go right into a pocket and you can also hold it while you’re charging your smartphone.

The very small form factor for this charger comes from its limited use of charging ports, whereas most 10,000mAh power banks on the market would use two charging ports, this power bank only uses one. The single USB-A port on his power bank has a 5V/2.4A charging speed, so it’s quite fast in terms of standard charging. The Micro-USB input recharging speed is 5V/2.0A for this power bank.

You can also use one input at a time to recharge this Tqka power bank, on the bright side, either of the input ports on this charger uses Quick Charge, so no matter which input port you use you should use a Quick Charge wall charger to recharge this power bank at its max charging speed.

There’s only a single output on this power bank and that would be a USB-A port that uses Quick Charge 3.0, so you can fast charge Quick Charge compatible smartphones at their max charging speed. Also, the Quick Charge port can charge standard devices too, and it’ll output a 5V/2.4A charging speed for them.

With one output port being a USB-A port that uses Quick Charge and the other one is a USB-C port that can be used with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable to charge USB-C compatible devices.

So if you have a Quick Charge compatible smartphone we recommend using it with the Quick Charge port, even if it’s a USB-C Quick Charge smartphone as Quick Charge is able to supply 18W of charging power. The USB-C port on this power bank has a 5V/3.0A (15W) charging speed that is nearly as powerful as the Quick Charge port. So that’s one reason to get this power bank, and the other reason why it’s great to use this power bank for Quick Charge USB-C smartphones is that you can recharge this power bank with the USB-C port.

As a result, the same USB-C to USB-A charging cable that you use to charge your smartphone can also be used to recharge this power bank with the USB-C port.

Another RAVPower portable charger with a 10,000mAh power capacity that we thought we would add because it’s quite innovative is their portable charger that uses a built-in AC adapter. The charger is very similar to the previous 10,000mAh power bank that we mentioned, as this charger also has a two USB-A output charging ports. Each of the ports on this power bank is able to output a 5V/2.4A charging speed and the max output on this power bank is also 3.4A.

However, the main difference with this charger is that it uses two input ports to recharge, but you can only use one at a time. While the more highlighted way to recharge this power bank is to use the built-in AC adapter and all you have to do is just plug the power bank into an AC outlet and it will begin to recharge. Okay, so we promise that this is the last Tronsmart power bank that we’ll mention but the reason that we’re adding this Tronsmart power bank is its use of three output ports. Two of the output ports are USB-A ports that each share a 5V/2.4A charging speed. The output port on this power bank is a Lightning charging cable that also has a 5V/2.4A charging speed. So this power bank is very useful for iPhone users that can actually make use of the built-in cable.

To recharge this power bank you have to use a Micro-USB input and the input recharging speed if 5V/2.4A, so if you want to recharge the power bank as fast as possible then you should use a 2.4 Amp wall charger.
