Best Chargers for Dell Latitude 7440 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 10, 2023)

Dell continues to make excellent business laptops, unlike the Dell Latitude 7440. The new laptop model uses a 13th Gen Intel vPro CPU and a few tweaked features to offer a better experience. The one thing that remains consistent is this laptop’s charging access.

You can charge the Dell Latitude 7440 via USB-C with a Power Delivery charger; what matters most is using a powerful charger. A charger is included in the box, and you choose a few different chargers when you buy a new one. What’s important to know is that you should go with a 65W to 100W PD charger, which I recommend in this guide. Here are some options if you’ve lost or have a broken charger.

Unitek 140W 3 Port GaN Charger

140W chargers are the only chargers you’ll ever need because they have such high power output that you can charge nearly any device. This Unitek charger has a 140W max output, and you can use the full 140W from either of the USB-C ports when charging a single device at a time.

Even if you’re charging from the two USB-C ports simultaneously, the dual output is 65W of Power Delivery. So you can fast charge two Dell Latitude 7440 laptops simultaneously. Charging three devices simultaneously produces a 65W output from USB-C 1, USB-C 2 will output 45W, and the USB-A port outputs 18W. Charging three devices simultaneously still lets you charge your Dell laptop from USB-C 1.

This charger has a 240W USB-C to USB-C cable that lets you charge your laptop immediately. Read my detailed review or watch my video review of the Unitek 140W Charger for more insights.

Baseus 65W 3 Port Fast Charger

This Baseus charger meets the standard for charging your Dell laptop at a minimum because you can get a total 65W PD output when charging from USB-C 1 alone. That said, when charging multiple devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port outputs 45W, so charging will slow down with your Latitude 7440 while charging from the other USB-C and USB-A ports.

The Baseus wall charger does have a unique design because it has an elongated design that prevents the charger from covering surrounding AC outlets. Find out more in my review article on the Baseus 65W Fast Charger.

VOLTME 100W PD GaN Charger

The VOLTME 100W PD charger has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. You can use the total 100W charge rate when charging from either of the two USB-C ports alone; this way, you charge your Dell laptop faster. Charging multiple devices, I recommend charging your laptop from USB-C 1 because the port can output 65W, even if you’re charging a device from USB-C 2 or the USB-A port, and when charging three devices simultaneously. Check out my comprehensive review or the video review of the VOLTME 100W Charger.

MOMAX 100W 4 PD Desktop Charger

If you want to be able to charge four devices at the same time, this MOMAX 100W charger is a good option. The charger has a 100W max output that can be fully used when charging a single device from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2. To make the most of charging multiple devices at the same time, I would recommend charging your Latitude 7440 from the USB-C 1 port at all times because that’s the most powerful port on the charger, which can output 100W, 65W, or 45W, depending on if you’re charging your laptop alone or with multiple other devices.

Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank

The great part about USB-C chargeable laptops is that they can be used with a power bank; this way, you don’t have to rely on a wall charger and hunt for a wall outlet. This Baseus Blade power bank has a 100W Power Delivery output that can fast charge your Dell laptop no matter where you are. The power bank also has a 20,000mAh capacity to charge the laptop for many hours. Discover the features of the Baseus Blade Power Bank in my review or video review.

EcoFlow River 2 Power Station

Recommending a power station for charging your laptop is going overboard, I admit. However, I recommend a mini power station like this EcoFlow River 2. The 60W USB-C PD port directly on the River 2 power station is just enough for charging your 7440. Still, in this case, I’m mainly recommending this power bank because you can use your original Dell laptop charger to plug into one of the AC outlets on the River 2 power station and charge from there.

Along with the AC outlets, you also get a ton of capacity since this is a power station, which means you’ll be able to use it for a while before recharging it. Explore the capabilities of the EcoFlow River 2 in my detailed review and video review.

ALOGIC 100W PD Car Charger

If you’re driving and want to charge Dell Latitude, a powerful enough car charger is necessary. This ALOGIC car charger has a 100W max output; you can use 100W of Power Delivery when charging a single device from the USB-C port. When charging two devices simultaneously, the USB-C port outputs 65W, and the USB-A port outputs 18W. So you can easily fast charge your Dell laptop and another device from the USB-A port.
