Best Chargers for Samsung Galaxy S9 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 30, 2023)

The Galaxy S9, powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor, boasts a sleek design with reduced top and bottom bezels. Its fingerprint sensor is conveniently located, addressing the placement issue found in the Galaxy S8. The standout feature of the S9 is its innovative camera, which is equipped with an adjustable aperture for enhanced photo quality. Despite these advancements, the battery has seen minimal upgrades, remaining similar to the Galaxy S8’s. To address this, we’ve identified the best chargers to ensure your Galaxy S9 is charged efficiently and ready for use.

VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is a capable phone, but with pretty mid-tier charging, the VOLTME 35W 2 port charger is a good fit for charging the Galaxy S9. The VOLTME charger has a 35W max output and features two USB-C ports. You can use the total 35W of Power Delivery if you’re only charging one service at a time, and a 35W charge rate can fast charge your S9, which can be useful for charging some USB-C laptops.

If you’re charging two devices simultaneously with the VOLTME 35W charger, the max output becomes 36W, and each port can output 18W. An 18W charge rate from each port will allow you to charge your Galaxy S9 and another phone fast. This charger’s only downside is that it doesn’t have a foldable plug. For an in-depth review of this charger’s features and performance, read my review article.

UGREEN 30W Robot Charger

If you only want a charger for fast charging your Galaxy S9, then the UGREEN 30W Robot charger is a good choice. The UGREEN Robot charger only has a single USB-C port that can be used to fast charge your Galaxy S9, and it can be a useful charger when you upgrade your phone, as newer Samsung phones can charge faster with this charger by using PPS. The 30W output from this charger can also be useful for charging some laptops, but most laptops require more than 30W of Power Delivery.

Also, design-wise, this UGREEN 30W charger is very different because it looks like a robot and has a smiling face during charge. The legs of the robot come off to expose the AC plug, and overall, it’s a solid charger, even though it does look like a toy. In my detailed article, I will explore the UGREEN 30W Robot Charger’s unique design and capabilities.
