Best Chargers for Framework Laptop in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 5, 2023)

The Framework laptop is a welcome addition to the laptop market because, compared to the run-of-the-mill flagship laptop, the Framework one is easier to repair and upgrade. It’s basically like that modular smartphone concept that was shown years ago but never happened, but this time around, it’s a laptop, and it’s real.

Of course, with how easy it is to change the laptop’s components, the charging for this laptop is accessible because it uses USB-C charging. The box includes a 65W USB-C charger; however, if you want an extra charger with more ports or a replacement charger because you lost or have a broken charger, I’ve got you covered. In this guide, I recommend chargers that will charge your Framework laptop well.

UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger

The first charger I want to recommend is this UGREEN 140W charger; you can use the total 140W of Power Delivery if you’re charging one device from USB-C 1, while C-2 can output 100W. The USB-A port on this charger can output 22.5W, no matter how many devices you’re charging.

The most impressive part of this charger is multi-device charging. If you’re charging from the two USB-C ports simultaneously, each USB-C port can output 65W of Power Delivery. This makes it possible to charge two laptops at the same time; you could potentially fast charge two Framework laptops at the same time with this charger. If you’re charging three devices simultaneously, the C-1 port outputs 65W, and the C-2 port outputs 45W; this makes it possible to fast charge your Framework laptop from the C-1 port and fast charge another two devices. This UGREEN charger has a USB-C to USB-C charging cable in the box. Read my review article or watch my video review of the UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger for more insights and details on its performance.

Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger

Another 140W charger I wanted to recommend is this Baseus 140W 3 port charger. The power allocation for this charger differs from the previous UGREEN charger I recommended, but it’s a little similar. The C-1 port can output 140W, the C-2 port can output 100W, and the UBS-A port can output 60W if you charge just one device.

The main difference for this charger is power output when charging multiple devices, such as when you’re charging two devices from the two USB-C ports; the C-1 port outputs 100W, and the C-2 port outputs 30W.

Then, when it comes to charging three devices simultaneously, the C-1 port outputs 100W, the C-2 port outputs 20W, and the USB-A port outputs 18W. So you can charge Framework laptop at max speed from C-1 no matter how many other devices you charge simultaneously. This Baseus charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. VOLTME 100W 3 Port Charger

On the lower power output side, there’s this VOLTME 100W 3 port charger; you can use the total 100W of Power Delivery if you’re charging one device at a time from the USB-C 1 or 2 ports. What matters most is that if you’re charging three devices simultaneously, this VOLTME charger outputs 65W from C-1, and 12W is outputted from the C-2 and the USB-A ports. Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

In my review of this Baseus 100W charger, I found the power allocation when charging multiple devices most surprising. You can use 100W of Power Delivery when charging a single device from USB-C 1 or 2. However, what is most impressive about this charger is even if you’re charging four devices at the same time, the USB-C 1 port can output 60W; sure, you’re missing 5W, but it comes close to the max charge rate of the Framework laptop, and you can charge another three devices at the same. This Baseus charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. Explore my comprehensive review article or watch my video review of the Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger for additional information.

UGREEN 145W 25,000mAh Power Bank

This UGREEN 145W power bank is made for charging laptops. The power bank has a 25,000mAh battery capacity that can charge the Framework laptop to full power at least once, and you can have spare capacity to use later. The charging power from this power bank is incredible because the C-1 port can output 100W of Power Delivery no matter how many devices you’re charging, so you can have another two devices charging from the C-2 and the USB-A port and still fast charge your Framework laptop from C-1.

Also, you can charge from C-1 and C-2 simultaneously, and there will be a 100W and 45W power split, making it possible to charge two laptops if you want to. Learn more about the UGREEN 145W 25,000mAh Power Bank in my comprehensive review article or through my video review.

Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank

The Baseus Blade is one of the most popular power banks on the market because it can output 100W of Power Delivery. The power bank also has two USB-A Quick Charge ports. The power bank’s slim form factor makes portability easier, and the screen at the top shows the remaining capacity, voltage, and amperage. Read my review article or watch the video review for an in-depth look at the Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank.

Statik 65W Power Bank

The Statik power bank is similar to the Baseus Blade power bank I recommend, mainly because of its slim form factor. However, this Statik power bank has a 65W Power Delivery output from its USB-C port that can fast charge your Framework laptop. One important thing to know about this Statik power bank is that you can only use the 65W of Power Delivery if you’re charging one device at a time because if you’re charging more than one device from this power bank, then the max output becomes 15W only.

Check out my review article or video review for more insights on the Statik 65W Power Bank.

Baseus 160W Car Charger

If you want to charge your Framework laptop while you’re driving, that is possible with this Baseus 160W car charger. The max output of the car charger is 160W, with the USB-C 1 port outputting 100W, the C-2 port outputting 30W, and the USB-A port outputting 30W. This makes it possible to fast charge your Framework laptop from the USB-C 1 port while also fast charging two phones from the C-2 and the USB-A ports. This car charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.
