The iPhone 12 series, including the Mini, Pro, and Pro Max, marks a significant advancement with the A14 Bionic chip and OLED displays. Notably, all models support USB-C Power Delivery fast charging. However, Apple has diverged from the norm by not including a wall charger or headphones with these iPhones. Although a Lightning to USB-C cable is provided, many users may not have a compatible USB-C Power Delivery wall charger. This guide focuses on USB-C fast chargers suitable for the iPhone 12 Mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max.
UGREEN Nexode 45W PD Charger
The first charger I want to recommend is this UGREEN Nexode 45W charger. This can be considered a universal charger that you can use to fast charge your iPhone 12 and charge most USB-C laptops. This UGREEN charger has a 45W Power Delivery output when charging one device at a time; this lets you charge USB-C chargeable laptops or fast charge your iPhone 12.
Also, when it comes to dual charging, the two USB-C ports have a 25W and 20W power split; this makes it possible to fast charge your iPhone while also fast charging another phone. For a detailed look at the UGREEN Nexode 45W PD Charger, read my review article or watch my video review.
VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger
This VOLTME 35W charger is very similar to the UGREEN charger I just recommended because this VOLTME charger also has two USB-C ports but a lower 35W charge rate. The lower charge rate doesn’t matter much as you can still fast charge your iPhone 12 from the charger alone.
For dual charging, the max output of this VOLTME charger becomes 36W, and this allows each of the USB-C ports to output 18W. 18W won’t charge your iPhone 12 at its max speed, but it will come close. Learn more about the VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger in my comprehensive review article.
Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger
Recommending a 100W charger for solely charging your iPhone 12 is pretty absurd, but I recommend it because it’s an all-around charger. You can use the charging power from this Baseus charger to charge nearly any device you currently have and any future devices you may own. You can use the full 100W of Power Delivery from USB-C 1 or 2 when charging one device at a time, with more than enough power for fast charging your iPhone 12.
However, what’s most important about this Basues 100W charger is that even when charging four devices simultaneously, the C-2 port can output 20W. This makes it possible to fast charge your iPhone 12 while charging a laptop from the C-1 port and another two phones or tablets from the USB-A ports. Explore the features of the Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger in my full review article, or check out my video review.
AOHI MagCube 30W Charger
If you’re searching for a wall charger that you can use to charge your iPhone solely, then this AOHI charger is a solid choice. This AOHI charger only has one port that can output 30W of Power Delivery. So you can fast charge your iPhone 12 with it. It’s one of the smallest 30W chargers on the market with just 1-inch dimensions. The power light at the front changes color depending on the charging status, so when you fast charge your iPhone, the front light will turn Amber. MOMAX Magnetic 5,000mAh MagSafe Power Bank
You can use a MagSafe power bank since the iPhone 12 is MagSafe compatible. This MOMAX power bank features a MagSafe wireless charging pad that can at least wirelessly charge your iPhone 12 at about 7.5W; yes, that is slower than wired charging, but the MagSafe feature allows your iPhone to attach to the power bank magnetically.
Also, wireless charging is the only way to charge your iPhone from this power bank, as the port on his charger is a Lightning input port with a 12W recharge rate. That said, MOMAX does sell a USB-C port version of this power bank, and you can use that USB-C port as an output and input on that version. For an in-depth MOMAX Magnetic 5,000mAh MagSafe Power Bank analysis, check out my detailed review article.
MOMAX Aluminum 20W 10,000mAh Power Bank
Another MOMAX power bank I wanted to recommend is this MOMAX Aluminum 20W power bank. This charger has a 10,000mAh battery capacity that can charge up your iPhone 12 to full power about once, and you can still have spare capacity to use later. The 20W Power Delivery charge rate from the USB-C port can fast charge your iPhone, and you can use the USB-C port to recharge the power bank at 20W.
The size of this MOMAX power bank is also great for portability as it has a very slim form factor that can easily slide into your pocket. In my comprehensive review article, Find out about the MOMAX Aluminum 20W 10,000mAh Power Bank.
ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh Power Bank
If you want a power bank that can last a few days without recharging, this ROMOSS PEA30 power bank is a good choice. This PEA30 power bank has a 30,000mAh battery capacity, so you can charge your iPhone to full power about five times without needing to recharge the power bank.
On the charging, this ROMOSS power bank has a 30W Power Delivery USB-C port that can fast charge your iPhone and can also be used to charge specific USB-C chargeable laptops. There are also three input options for recharging, with the USB-C port being the fastest way to recharge the power bank at 30W. However, a Lightning input port with an 18W recharge rate may be more accessible for an iPhone user. Gain a fuller understanding of the ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh Power Bank by reading my review article or watching my video review.
Baseus 160W Car Charger
This Baseus 160W car charger is the only one you will ever need to own because of its high power output and three charging ports. The charger has a 160W max output, and you can use the full power of each of the ports because the max output of the car charger is so high; however, that depends on if your car socket outlet can deliver enough power to the charger. The USB-C 1 port can output 100W, and the USB-C 2 port can output 30W; in this case, it’s best to charge your iPhone from the C-2 port and leave the C-1 port for faster charging devices such as a laptop. Read my review article or watch the video review for a thorough breakdown of the Baseus 160W Car Charger’s capabilities.
