Best Chargers for Lenovo Chromebook Duet in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 26, 2023)

The Lenovo Chromebook Duet is another option for 2-in-1 tablets and laptops because it can be used with a detachable keyboard, and it is Lenovo’s take on the Surface Go. If you use the Chromebook Duet as a laptop, chances are you’re using it heavily to get some work done, which can drain the battery fast.

The Chromebook Duet does come with a 30W charger, but you can use up to 45W Power Delivery USB-C chargers to charge it faster. If you want a replacement charger, a faster one, or a charger with more ports, I’ve chosen a few Chromebook Duet chargers that may be more useful than the original charger.

UGREEN Nexode 45W 2 Port Charger

The UGREEN Nexode 45W charger is a balanced but powerful choice for charging your Chromebook Duet. The UGREEN charger has a total 45W max output, and you can use the full 45W of power delivery if you’re charging a single device at a time from the charger. It doesn’t matter which port you are using. The 45W charge rate can charge your Chromebook Duet faster.

Then there’s the dual charging; if you’re charging about two devices simultaneously, the power split between the ports is 25W and 20W. In my review for the UGREEN 45W Nexode charger, I could simultaneously charge my Lenovo laptop and fast charge my Galaxy Note 9. So you can charge your Chromebook Duet during dual charging, but you should plug it in first to get the 25W of Power Delivery. However, if you want optimal charging, you should charge your Chromebook alone, but the option for dual charging is nice to have when needed. Watch my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 45W charger for a closer look at its features and performance.

Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

The Baseus 100W 4 port charger may be too much of what you’re looking for, but it will fit most USB-C charging needs, even better than most other 100W four port chargers. So you can use the total 100W of Power Delivery from the USB-C 1 and USB-C 2 ports on this Baseus charger, and that’s more than enough to fast charge the Chromebook Duet. The best part is that you can still use 60W of Power Delivery from the USB-C 1 port while you charge your four devices. In my full review for the Baseus 100W 4 port charger, I could charge my Lenovo laptop from the USB-C 1 port while charging a power bank and two phones.

EBL 65W Desktop Charger with two AC Outlets

If you want a charger that you can use to charge your Chromebook directly via USB-C and also want the option of using your original, the EBL 65W charger with two AC outlets is a good choice. This EBL charger has four charging ports, including two USB-C and two USB-A ports. You can use the 65W of Power Delivery from USB-C 1 or 2 when charging one device; if you’re charging three devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port can output 40W. When charging four devices simultaneously, you cannot charge your Chromebook from this charger because the output becomes too low for the ports.

Two AC outlets let you power your original Chromebook Duet charger; in my full review of the EBL 65W charger, I could power a heater while charging three devices from this EBL charging station. Watch my video review for a detailed exploration of the EBL 65W charger.

Final thoughts about my choice of Chargers for the Chromebook Duet

The Chromebook Duet is a nifty device as you can make it into a tablet and a laptop. If you’re using the Chromebook Duet as a laptop, then chances are you’re going to be using it for a longer time, and that can drain the battery fast; USB-C chargers are plentiful and powerful on the market, which is why the Baesus 100W charger and the UGREEN chargers work great for charging the Chromebook Duet for different types of needs.
