Best Chargers for Lenovo Flex 5 81X20005US Laptop in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 26, 2023)

Now is the best time to own a laptop, as the improvements made to laptops have been significant in recent years. Modern laptops are a lot faster due to the processors they use, and most notably, most of them now use a Solid State Drive (SSD), which is a lot faster than a Hard Disk Drive (HDD); an SSD ultimately makes laptops faster because it’s able to access data in your computer faster. Most laptops also use more RAM, such as having 16GB of RAM instead of 8 GB. However, plenty of brands still offer 8GB of RAM with their laptop at a higher price, and we find that to be unfortunate as 16GB of RAM should be more of the standard.

Since there are still many brands on the market that sell their laptops at inflated prices because of their so-called “Powerful” specs, on the other hand, there’s Lenovo that quietly releases laptops that have great specs and a reasonable price, the specific one that we’re talking about in this case is their Lenovo Flex 5 81X20005US laptop. The Flex 5 laptop is powerful because it features an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an upgradeable 256GB NVme SSD if you want more storage.

Those are all great specs that will make you forget that you’re using a budget laptop, and even the Flex 5 itself is slim and lightweight, making it easy to take anywhere you want. Not exactly about the performance of modern laptops, but most laptops also feature USB-C ports that you can charge from; this Flex 5 also has a USB-C port that you can use to charge the laptop. If you own the Flex 5 81X20005US laptop, this guide is definitely for you because we’re covering chargers for the Lenovo Flex 5 laptop.

Oraimo 120W 4 Port HyperGaN Charger

The first charger I want to recommend is this Oraimo 120W 4 port charger. Chargers like these are great for charging the Lenovo Flex 5 laptop because they have such a high power output that can be used from a single port or shared with multiple ports.

From charging a single device at a time from either USB-C 1 or USB-C 2, each of those ports can output 100W. C-1 or C-2 is the port you’ll use to charge your Lenovo laptop because the USB-C 3 and the USB-A port top out at a 30W output.

In my testing of the Oraimo charger, I found that even when charging four devices simultaneously and charging my Lenovo laptop from USB-C 2, the charger automatically allocated more power to the laptop. Some chargers have set power allocation when charging multiple devices; this one does not and figures out what device requires more charging power. The Flex 5 laptop could charge at max power, whether I was charging it alone or with three other devices. Read my review article or watch my video review of the Oraimo 120W 4 Port HyperGaN Charger to learn more about its high power output and versatile charging capabilities.

UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger

This UGREEN charger has an overall higher max output of 140W. Charging from USB-C 1 alone lets you use the full 140W, while charging from USB-C 2 alone gives 100W of Power Delivery. So you can fast charge your Flex 5 laptop at max speed when it’s the only device charging.

Even better, if you’re charging from the USB-C ports simultaneously, each can output 65W; this can let you charge two Flex 5 laptops. Charging four devices simultaneously gives you a 65W output from USB-C 1, USB-C 2 will output 45W, and the USB-A port always has a 22.5W charge rate, no matter how many devices you’re charging.

You can still fast charge your Flex 5 laptop with a 45W PD port, so this UGREEN charger will always be reliable no matter how many devices you charge simultaneously. A major benefit of this UGREEN charger is that it comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. For a detailed UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger analysis, read my review article or watch my video review, especially to understand its fast charging potential for multiple devices.

NOVOO 67W 2 Port GaN Charger

This NOVOO 65W charger is much more minimal because of its lower power output and USB-C and USB-A port usage. That said, it can work great for charging your Lenovo laptop because the single port USB-C output is 67W when charging a single device. When charging two devices, the USB-C PD output is 45W, and the USB-A output is 18W. So you can still charge your laptop while also charging a phone from the USB-A port.

Since it’s a lower-wattage GaN charger, this small NOVOO charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Check out my review article or video review of the NOVOO 67W 2 Port GaN Charger to see how it effectively charges the Lenovo laptop with its lower power output.

VOLTME 100W 3 Port Charger

The VOLTME 100W charger is decent if you want a more laptop-oriented charger when charging multiple devices. You can use the 100W if you’re charging a single device from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2. Multi-port charging from the C-1 and the C-2 gives a 60W and 30W power split that lets you fast charge your Flex 5 and a phone from the USB-C 2 port.

Charging from all three ports has the USB-C 2 and the USB-A port outputting 12W, while the USB-C 1 port outputs 65W; this lets you fast charge your Lenovo laptop, but only standard charging another two devices. Read my review article or watch my video review of the VOLTME 100W 3 Port Charger to discover how it caters to the needs of laptop-oriented charging.

INIU B63 25,000mAh 65W PD Power Bank

A power bank that is powerful enough to charge your USB-C laptop is a must; whether you’re at home, school, or work, it’s convenient not to have to hunt for an outlet to plug a wall charger into. This INIU B63 power bank has a 65W Power Delivery port that can fast charge the Lenovo Flex 5 laptop. Additionally, there is a 30W USB-C PD port and a 22.5W USB-A Quick Charge port on this INIU power bank.

The 25,000mAh capacity of this INIU power bank can charge the Flex 5 laptop to full power at least once, with a spare capacity for later use. Explore the capabilities of the INIU B63 25,000mAh 65W PD Power Bank in my review article or video review, focusing on its power delivery for the Lenovo Flex 5.

Baseus 65W PD Car Charger

Charging your Flex 5 laptop while driving sounds odd, but it’s possible with Power Delivery via a USB-C port. This Baseus car charger has a 65W Power Delivery output from its USB-C port when charging a single device simultaneously, while dual charging drops it down to 45W. You can still charge your Flex laptop with the 65W and 45W charge rates.

This Baseus car charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Learn about the convenience and efficiency of the Baseus 65W PD Car Charger in my review article, which is ideal for charging your Flex 5 on the go.

Baseus 65W 3-Port GaN Power Delivery Wall Charger

With an added USB-A port, this Baseus wall charger has two ports you can use while charging your Flex 5. The charger has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and a standard USB-A port. The top USB-C Power Delivery port has a 65W charging speed, while USB-C 2 has a 45W charging speed. The USB-A port features Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging compatible Android smartphones.

If you’re charging multiple devices at the same time, then USB-C 1 lowers its charging speed from 65W to 45W, and if you’re charging from all three ports at the same time, USB-C still outputs 45W, while USB-C 2 and the USB-A QC port share a 15W power output. So, no matter how many devices you’re charging simultaneously, you can still charge your Lenovo Flex 5 laptop.

This Baseus wall charger’s form factor differs from most others that you will find on the market, as the charger has a cubed elongated shape. This makes the charger less susceptible to blocking other outlets when you plug it into a wall outlet or a surge protector. Crave PowerPack 50,000mAh 60W USB-C Power Delivery Power Bank

On the opposite side of the Excitrus power bank mentioned, this Crave PowerPack portable charger has a massive 50,000mAh power capacity. This is one of the best highest capacity power banks on the market that you find that doesn’t have an AC outlet; this is a good thing because using an outlet on this power bank would make it even larger and heavier. With a 50,000mAh power capacity, you can charge your Lenovo Flex 5 laptop to full power about three times; however, with this much power, you can charge other devices to full power simultaneously. Before recharging, you’re looking for many days of use with this Crave portable charger.

The charging experience is also great because the Crave PowerPack has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A Quick Charge 3.0 ports. One USB-C PD port has an 18W charging speed, while the other has a 60W charging rate. You would, of course, use the 60W PD port to charge your Lenovo Flex 5.

Included in the box is the Crave PowerPack, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a 45W USB-C PD wall charge that you can use to recharge the power bank at its maximum speed. You may also use the wall charger to charge your Flex 5 directly. Read my review article on the Crave PowerPack 50,000mAh power bank.
