Best Chargers for Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, S21 Ultra in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 28, 2023)

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series marks an incremental upgrade over the S20, featuring the Exynos 2100 chip and increased RAM. Notable enhancements include 120Hz refresh rate screens, surpassing the already fast 90Hz, with the S21 Ultra combining this with a higher resolution. Given these power-intensive specs, particularly the 120Hz display, Samsung chose not to include a charger in the box, a trend initiated by Apple. This makes owning a fast charger more crucial for S21 users. This guide selects the best chargers for efficiently powering the Samsung phone.

VOLTME 30W 2 Port Charger

The first charger I recommend is this VOLTME 30W 2 port charger. This is one of the simplest chargers I could recommend for the Galaxy S21. The charger has two USB-C ports and a 30W max output; you can super fast charge your S21 at 25W from this charger. However, when charging two devices simultaneously, the charger’s maximum output becomes 15W.

So, this charger is mainly meant to charge your S21 or another phone simultaneously. You could charge a select few USB-C chargeable laptops if you’re charging them alone. Read my review article or watch my video review for an in-depth VOLTME 30W 2 Port Charger analysis.

VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger

One other VOLTME charger I wanted to recommend is this VOLTME 35W charger. So this is slight and, at the same time, a big upgrade from the previous VOLTME charger that I recommended. This charger also has two USB-C ports and a 35W max output. You can use a total of 35W of Power Delivery when charging a single device, and super-fast charging is available, too.

The surprising part of this charger is that when you charge two devices simultaneously, the max output becomes 36W, and each port can output 18W. This makes it possible to at least fast-charge your Galaxy S21 while possibly fast-charging another Android phone simultaneously. The only downside to this VOLTME charger is the lack of a foldable plug. Check out my review article for more information on the VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger.

UGREEN Nexode 45W Dual USB-C Charger

If you’re searching for a balanced Power Delivery charger that can charge your USB-C laptop and super fast charge your Galaxy S21, this UGREEN Nexode 45W charger is a good choice. The charger has up to 45W of PPS super fast charging available when charging a single device at a time, so you can super fast charge your S21, and you will also be able to super fast charge newer Samsung phones at 45W when you upgrade.

The 45W of Power Delivery single port charging is excellent for laptops, too. For dual charging, there is a 25W and 20W split of power. However, even when you dual charge, the PPS super fast charging is lost, but you can still fast charge your Galaxy S21. Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

This Baseus 100W charger may be too much to charge your S21, but this is a good choice if you’re searching for an all-around charger. You can super fast charge your S21 from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2 alone from this Basues charger.

When charging multiple devices simultaneously, you cannot super fast charge your S21. That said, what is impressive is that even if you’re charging four devices simultaneously with this Basues charger, the USB-C 2 port can still output 20W of Power Delivery; this makes it possible to at least fast charge your S21 while charging other devices.

A USB-C to USB-C charging cable is included in the box. Learn about the Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger by reading my review article or watching my video review.

Basues Blade 20,000mAh Power Bank

The Baseus Blade power bank is one of my most recommended because it has so much power. The power bank has a 20,000mAh battery capacity to charge your S21 to full power about three times. The 100W of Power Delivery output may be too much of what you’re looking for, but this also makes the power bank reliable for fast charging laptops, and you can also use it to super fast charge your S21.

The recharging of this power bank is also fast, with a 65W PD input speed, and there is a screen at the top of the power bank that shows the remaining capacity, voltage, and amperage of the power bank. Discover the details of the Baseus Blade 20,000mAh Power Bank in my review article or video review.

iWalk LinkPod USB-C Power Bank

This iWalk LinkPod power bank may not have the highest capacity or most charging power, but it’s tiny, lightweight, and easy to use because you don’t even need a cable to use the power bank. This iWalk power bank has a 4,800mAh battery capacity and can come close to delivering a full charge to your Galaxy S21. The USB-C connector is where you charge your S21 from, and it has an 18W PD charge rate, which means you can fast charge your S21.

You can also use the USB-C connector to recharge the power bank by simply plugging it into a USB-C port on a wall charger. You can also recharge the power bank by using the USB-C input port on the power bank. Find out more about the iWalk LinkPod USB-C Power Bank by checking out my review article or video review.

Baseus 160W 3 Port Car Charger

This Baseus 160W car charger has a ton of charging power. However, the good news is that the price is rather low for what the car charger offers. The USB-C 1 port outputs 100W, C-2 outputs 30W, and the USB-A port outputs 30W. You can super fast charge your Galaxy S21 from the USB-C 1 port, and this car charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. See my in-depth review article or video review for comprehensive insights on the Baseus 160W 3-Port Car Charger.
