Best Chargers for Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 28, 2023)

Tablets, including various models from different brands, are as prevalent as smartphones today. While Apple’s iPad is well-known, Samsung competes with more affordable tablets like the Galaxy Tab A7. This tablet offers mid-tier specs at a reasonable price, featuring a Snapdragon 662 processor and 3GB of RAM. Its 7,047mAh battery, substantial for a tablet of its size, charges via a USB-C port. Importantly, the Galaxy Tab A7 doesn’t require a high-powered charger, as its fast charging capability is 15W. The chargers recommended in this guide, all exceeding 15W, are versatile enough to charge other devices.

UGREEN 45W PD 2 Port Charger

The first charger I want to recommend is this UGREEN 45W charger. The charger has a 45W max output, so when charging a single device, you can use the total 45W of Power Delivery, which lets you charge USB-C laptops. In my review of this UGREEN charger, I found that I could charge my Lenovo Flex 5 laptop alone.

You can fast charge your Galaxy Tab A7 alone or with two devices charging from this UGREEN charger. When dual charging, one of the USB-C ports outputs 25W, and the other outputs 20W. The first device you plug in when charging with two-port is the one that will get 25W, while the second one gets 20W. So fast charging your Tab A7 at all times is no problem, but you lose that 45W PD charge rate when charging two devices. VOLTME 35W 2 Port USB-C Charger

On the less powerful side, but still powerful enough to fast charge your Tab A7, is this VOLTME 35W charger. The charger has two USB-C ports and a max output of 35W when charging one device.

35W of Power Power Delivery is available when charging a single device at a time; this can be useful for charging certain USB-C laptops faster. When dual charging, the max output of this charger becomes 36W, and each of the ports outputs 18W; this way, you can fast charge your Tab A7 and another phone simultaneously. Check out my detailed review article of the VOLTME 35W 2 Port USB-C Charger for more information.

Oraimo 120W GaN 4 Port Charger

Using this Oraimo 120W charger specifically for charging, your Galaxy Tab A7 is a little overboard. That said, if you want more of a universal type of charger, this Oraimo one is a good choice. This charger has a 120W max output, three USB-C ports, and a single USB-A port.

You can fast charge most laptops at max speed when charging a single device from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2. In this case, what matters most is that you can still fast charge your Tab A7 when charging four devices simultaneously. I recommend charging your Galaxy Tab A7 from the USB-C 3 port when charging four devices. In my testing, I found that the USB-C 3 port has priority faster charging even though the USB-C 3 and the USB-A port show a 20W output when charging four devices. Discover the full capabilities of the Oraimo 120W GaN 4 Port Charger in my review article or video review.

UGREEN 140W 3 Port PD Charger

Another universal charger I want to recommend is this UGREEN 140W charger. There is tons of power right here, too. For fast charging your Tab A7, you’ll be good to use the USB-A port with a 22.5W charge rate at all times, no matter how many devices you’re charging. The USB-C 1 port outputs 65W, and the USB-C 2 port outputs 45W even when charging three devices simultaneously.

The box includes a USB-C to USB-C cable that lets you use the charger from the box. Explore my comprehensive review article or video review on the UGREEN 140W 3 Port PD Charger.

ROMOSS PEA30 30W 30,000mAh Power Bank

If you’re searching for a power bank to charge your Tab A7 away from a wall charger, this ROMOSS PEA30 power bank is a great option. The PEA30 power bank has a 30W USB-C PD port and two 22.5W USB-A ports. So you can use any of the ports on this power bank to fast charge your Tab A7.

The 30,000mAh battery capacity fits perfectly for the Galaxy Tab A7 because the tablet has a large battery; this ROMOSS power bank can charge the Tab A7 to full power about two times, and you may have spare capacity if the tablet is the only device you’re charging with the power bank. iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank

This iWalk LinkPod is the opposite of the ROMOSS power bank I recommend. Instead, this iWalk power bank is mainly meant to extend the battery life of your Tab A7 for a few more hours. This iWalk LinkPod power bank has a 4,800mAh battery capacity, so that it won’t charge your Tab A7 to full power, but it will keep it running.

The design is the main reason to get this power bank because it has a USB-C connector that will directly plug into your Tab A7, and the better part is that it has an 18W PD charging speed. Find out the specifics of the iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank in my review article or video review.

Baseus 65W USB-C Car Charger

If you want to fast charge your Tab A7 while driving, this Baseus car charger is a good choice. This Baseus charger has a 65W PD output when charging a single device from the USB-C port. The charger has a 45W and 18W power split when charging two devices. So you can always fast charge your Tab A7 from this car charger. See my review article for an in-depth analysis of the Baseus 65W USB-C Car Charger.
