The first Microsoft Surface Duo was an innovative design that had a different take on being a foldable phone, as it had two separate screens. This time around, with the Surface Duo 2, you, of course, get the latest specs that include the Snapdragon 888 5G processor, along with 8GB of RAM, and that’s 2GB more than the previous model. You also have a better camera, along with a better display that can be set at a 90Hz refresh rate. Something not noticeable on the outside of the Surface Duo 2 is that it has a larger battery of 4,449mAh, in comparison to the 1st generation Surface Duo with its 3,577mAh battery; that’s a pretty big jump.
The Surface Duo 2 also follows in the footsteps of other flagship smartphones this time around, with the Duo 2 no longer including a charger in the box. You may already have a charger for the Surface, but if you don’t and want a replacement charger, or enjoy a charger that has more than a single port, then we’ve got you covered. In this guide, we’re covering chargers that you should consider using to charge your Surface Duo 2, with most of the chargers in this guide being able to fast charge the Duo 2 at 23W.
AOHI 30W Mini USB-C Power Delivery Wall Charger
The first charger that we want to recommend is this AOHI mini wall charger for charging your Surface Duo 2. This is an excellent replacement charger because it has a single USB-C Power Delivery port with a 30W output, and with this speed, you can charge the Surface Duo 2 at its max charging speed. A 30W charge rate can also charge other USB-C compatible devices such as laptops like the Macbook.
This charger is also tiny with a cube form factor and measurements that are only one inch to add to the charging power. The charger does not have a foldable plug, but it doesn’t need it simply because of how small the charger is. The small size is thanks to the use of GaN that enables the charger to be smaller without giving up on charging power.
There’s also an LED light at the front of the charger that changes color depending on different charging statuses. When light is yellow, it means fast charging, blue is standard charging, and green is trickle charging for smaller devices such as earbud cases.

|USB-C Power Delivery Port||5V/3A | 9V/2.22A | 9V/2.77A | 15V/2A | 20V/1.5A | 3.3/11V/3A|
|Size||1.1 x 1.1 x 1.26 inches|
SAIL01 65W Dual GaN USB-C Power Delivery Wall Charger
With more charging power and one more port, there’s this SAIL01 wall charger. The SAIL01 wall charger has two USB-C Power Delivery ports, with USB-C 1 outputting 18W no matter if you’re charging one or two devices simultaneously. You can fast charge your Surface Duo 2 via USB-C 1 at 18W, but that’s not the Duo’s max 23W charge rate, so we recommend using USB-C 2 on this SAIL01 charger.
That’s because USB-C 2 has a 65W output when charging a single device via the wall charger; when charging two devices simultaneously, USB-C 2 will output 45W. So even if you’re charging two devices via the SAIL01 wall charger, you can still fast charge your Surface Duo 2 from USB-C 2 and fast charge another phone via USB-C 1. The SAIL01 helps charge most laptops with the USB-C 2 port, including the Surface Pro, Surface laptops, and many other USB-C chargeable devices.
Included in the box with the SAIL01 charger is a USB-C to USB-C cable that you can use to start charging your Surface Duo 2 immediately.

KOVOL 120W Power Delivery Desktop Charger
This KOVOL desktop charger is the perfect example of a charger that you’d get because you want to fast charge your Surface Duo and also because you want to fast charge other devices simultaneously. This KOVOL charger features two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A ports, and it has a max output of 120W. With this much charging power and these many ports, you can utilize it differently.
You can use up to 100W of Power Delivery when charging from a single USB-C PD port, which lets you charge most USB-C chargeable devices. You can even charge from each of the two USB-C ports, and that gives you a 60W split of power from each of the USB-C ports; this lets you charge two USB-C laptops. You may also fast charge your Surface Duo 2 while charging a laptop.
Even when charging from all four ports together, USB-C 1 will output 65W, USB-C 2 will output 20W, and the two USB-A ports will output 18W. This way, you can charge a laptop, fast charge your Surface Duo 2 via USB-C 2, and have another two Android phones fast charging via the two USB-A ports.
Since this is a desktop charger, it uses a power cord instead of a built-in AC adapter, which lets you place the charger where you want it.

UGREEN 20W 1-Port Mini PD Wall Charger
This UGREEN mini wall charger is the most straightforward and possibly the lowest priced fast charger you can get for your Surface Duo. Like the AOHI charger we mentioned, the charger is tiny, but it has slower charging with the single USB-C PD port only outputting 20W. This isn’t the fast 23W fast charging speed for the Surface Duo 2, but it comes close enough. Overall it’s not a bad deal if you’re looking for a small but fast charging type of charger for your Surface Duo. Nothing too special, and that’s because it doesn’t need to be.

Excitrus 45W 9,600mAh USB-C Power Delivery Power Bank
Moving onto portable chargers, you may want to own one. After all, the Surface Duo 2 is a mobile device, and most of the time, you’re going to find that you need to charge your phone is when you’re not even near a typical power source such as an outlet, and you don’t have a wall charger. This Excitrus power bank fits the needs for charging your Excitrus power bank because it’s small, has just enough capacity, and can fast charge the phone with its USB-C PD port.
This Excitrus portable charger has a 9,600mAh power capacity that can charge the Surface Duo 2 to full power at the latest one time, and you may have spare capacity after. Since it has such a low capacity, this power bank also has a small size with just a length of 4 inches and 2.5 inches. Charging power is the most impressive part as power banks within this capacity range don’t typically have such high Power Delivery output.
The power bank features one USB-C Power Delivery port and two USB-A ports. The USB-C port has a 45W output that fast charges the Surface Duo 2 at its max charging speed. One of the USB-A ports features Quick Charge for fast charging Android compatible devices, while the other USB-A port is a standard port.
Design-wise, this power bank is great because it has an LCD that shows the remaining power capacity. The box includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable.

UGREEN 20W 10,000mAh Power Delivery Power Bank with Built-in USB-C Cable
Going into the same power capacity range, this UGREEN power bank has a 10,000mAh power capacity. So it can charge the Surface Duo to full power a single time only, with some to spare.
The main reason we’re recommending this power bank is because of its built-in USB-C cable. This power bank is always reliable as long as it has a power capacity and because the built-in cable had an 18W Power Delivery charge rate. In addition to the built-in line, this power bank also has a USB-A Quick Charge and USB-C PD port with a 20W output.
The box with the power bank includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable.

Charging your Surface Duo 2 while driving may also be another need you don’t expect. This Baseus car charger has more than charging power to fast charge the Surface Duo 2, featuring a 65W USB-C PD port. The car charger also has a USB-A Quick Charge port, and when using both ports simultaneously, it lowers the USB-C port to 45W.
This car charger features something that not many other brands have: an Amperage and Voltage meter to show the output. The box with the car charger includes a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Nekteck 45W Power Delivery Car Charger
One other car charger we want to recommend is this Nekteck car charger. It has a 45W USB-C Power Delivery port, so it is not as powerful as the previous Baseus car charger we mentioned, but it can still fast charge the Surface Duo 2 via its USB-C PD port. Also, this car charger has a 12W USB-A port; since the car charger has a 57W max output, you can use both ports at max power without losing charging power.
Included in the box with this Nekteck car charger is a USB-C to USB-C cable.
