Best Chargers for Surface Go 2 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 26, 2023)

At this point, a wide range of portable devices, from large and heavy gaming laptops that let you play the latest games no matter where you go, to more productive laptops that are slim and lightweight. Portability is at an all-time high, and fewer people are looking for desktop computers as they want to have the experience of using a computer wherever they go. Microsoft has been one of the leading brands in portability and power with their Surface lineup, especially with the Surface Go.

With the Surface Go 2 using more power with its new processor, especially if you go with the 8GB model, which we recommend as it makes the Go 2 snappier, these specs’ main setbacks are that they can drain battery power quickly. The Surface Go 2 is a capable mini laptop, but just like the first one, that battery can be a weak point, but the charging is as accessible as ever. With a Power Delivery charger, you can charge the Surface Go 2 via its Surface Connect or USB-C port. In this guide, we’re covering chargers you can use for the Surface Go 2, which can be reliable in nearly every situation. Best of all, the chargers in this guide are compatible with Android smartphones and iPhones.

UGREEN Nexode 45W 2 Port Charger

The UGREEN Nexode 45W charger works well for the Surface Go 2, whether you’re charging it alone or have two devices charging simultaneously. The great thing about charging your Surface Go via USB-C is that you need at least 18W of Power Delivery, giving you flexibility on what charger you can use. The UGREEN 45W charger has two USB-C ports, and you can use the total 45W of Power Delivery when charging one device at a time; so if you charge your Surface Go 2 alone, you can charge it faster from the UGREEN charger.

Then, if you’re charging two devices, the first device plugged in will get a 25W Power Delivery charge rate, and the second will get 20W. So, if you want to charge your Surface Go 2 faster when charging two devices, you should plug it in first. The UGREEN 45W charger offers faster single port charging but makes it possible to fast charge your Surface Go while charging a phone.
