Best Power Banks for Google Pixelbook / Pixel C / Pixel Slate

(Last Updated On: June 6, 2020)

One of the greatest benefits of a USB-C Power Delivery device is that you’re able to use more types of charging electronics with it.

This is most useful for USB-C laptops, as it’s getting to the point where most laptops are able to be recharged with their USB-C ports.

As a result, you don’t have to deal with a brick type of DC port chargers and worrying about having to take it everywhere. The generation of USB Type-C basically brings options.

Power Delivery is Heavily used with Google Products

That’s definitely true for the Google Pixelbook and the Pixel C, as they both make use of USB-C. They’re also both Power Delivery compatible, of course, and you can read more about the types of chargers that you use with them in our other guide.

In this guide though, we’re going to be focusing on the power banks that you should be using for the Gooel Pixelbook and the Pixel C.

As portable charging is one of the most convenient charging methods that you can use for a laptop and a tablet.

Jackery SuperCharge 26,800mAh 45W Power Delivery Power Bank

Most Power Delivery power banks have high power capacities, and this is a good thing, in this case, as the Google Pixelbook and the Pixel C have large batteries.

The Pixelbook has a 5,600mAh battery capacity.

While the Pixel C has a 34Wh battery which is 9,000mAh battery.

So the Power Delivery power banks that we have to recommend are ones that have lots of power, both with their charging and with the amount of power capacity.

Definitely has Lots of Power

The first one is this Jackery SuperCharge power bank that features a very high capacity of 26,800mAh.

It’s with this much power that you’re able to charge the Pixelbook to its full power about three times. Or you can charge the Pixel C to its full power about two times.

That said, just remember that these full charge estimates are based on charging the device alone with this power bank.

As there are two ports to use with this Jackery SuperCharge.

Two Powerful Ports. Two Fast Charging Technologies

One is the USB-C Power Delivery port and the other is the USB-A port.

The USB-C power Delivery port on this power bank is powerful with its 45W charging speed. A 45W charging speed is the best for the Pixelbook and Pixel C.

After all, both of these devices come with a 45W Power Delivery wall charger. So you can charge either the laptop or the Google tablet at their max charging speed with this power bank.

Another thing is that this charger also features Quick Charge, so you can fast charge a Quick Charge compatible smartphone, too.

Comes with a Power Delivery Wall Charger

Another final plus for getting this power bank is that it comes with a Power Delivery wall charger. As a result, you can recharge teh power bank at its max charging speed.

You can also use it as a replacement charger for your Pixelbook or Pixel C.

Zendure 26,800mAh 45W Power Delivery Power Bank

Another very high capacity power bank is this Zendure portable charger. The charger has the same power capacity as the above Jackery power bank, which is 26,800mAh.

As a result, you’re able to charge either of the two Google devices to their full power about two times or more.

The main difference is that with this Zendure power bank, there are five ports to use.

Many Ports

Yes, five. It does sound quite absurd, as most power banks that have this much power capacity usually just have two or three ports.

So four the ports are USB-A that each has a 5V/2.4A charging speed.

The USB-C Power Delivery port has a 45W charging speed.

Comes with a USB-C to USB-C Cable, No Wall Charger

You can also recharge the power bank at Power Delivery speeds with a Power Delivery wall charger, but this power bank doesn’t come with one.

It does, however, come with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.

This Zendure power bank also makes use of a digital power capacity display.

Dodocool 45W Power Delivery 20,100mAh Power Bank

The next two Power Delivery power banks that we’re recommending are ones that have lower power capacities, but at the same time, we consider them to be budget friendly.

The first one is this Dodocool power bank that has a 20,100mAh power capacity. So not nearly as much power as the other two power banks that we mentioned.

However, it’s still enough power to charge either the Pixelbook or Pixel C, to their full power at least once.

The charging from this power bank can be done through three ports.

45W Charging Power and Stanard Charging

There’s the USB-C Power Delivery port that has a 45W charging speed. The other two ports are USB-A ports that have a 5V/2.4A charging speed.

So you still get the same 45W charging rate as the other two power banks that we mentioned, on top of that, this charger also makes use of standard ports.

It even comes with a USB-C to UBS-C charging cable. There is no wall charger included with this power bank.

That said, if you do have a separate Power Delivery wall charger then you can use it to recharge this Dodocool power bank faster.

iMuto 20,100mAh 45W Power Delivery Power Bank with Quick Charge

This iMuto power bank is basically like the first Jackery SuperCharge power bank that we mentioned.

Of course, the power capacity is quite a bit lower as it has a 20,100mAh power capacity.

The main portion that makes it similar is that this charger also makes use of two ports.

Uses Quick Charge, Too

One is the USB-C Power Delivery port with its 45W charging speed and the USB-A port makes use of Quick Charge.

This is one of the most affordable Power Delivery power banks within this guide, because of that, some corners are cut with what this power bank comes with.

As this power bank does not come with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and neither does it include a Power Delivery wall charger.

So placing this power bank into a pocket is completely possible.
