Best Power Banks for Galaxy S23, S23 Ultra in 2024

(Last Updated On: January 2, 2024)

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series, including the base S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, features upgraded specs typical of new yearly releases. A key improvement this year is the larger battery sizes to accommodate the increased power demands of these advanced phones. The base S23 model has a 3,900mAh battery, the S23 Plus boasts a 4,700mAh battery, and the S23 Ultra has a hefty 5,000mAh battery. Despite their larger capacities, these batteries may deplete quickly, necessitating power banks for charging on the go. This guide focuses on chargers suitable for the Galaxy S23 series. Notably, the S23 supports 25W fast charging, while the S23 Plus and Ultra models can have 45W fast charging. Therefore, this guide includes fast-charging power banks compatible with these models.

INIU 25,000mAh 65W Power Delivery Power Bank

Starting with this INIU power bank with a 25,000mAh capacity, this amount of power helps charge all models of the S23. Even for the highest tier S23 Ultra, you can charge it to full power about 2.5 times. The charging power from this INIU power bank is also pretty impressive because it has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and a single USB-A port.

One of the USB-C ports has a 65W Power Delivery charging speed, while the other has a 30W PD output. The USB-A port has a 22.5W output. You can fast charge your S23 using either USB-C port; however, for the S23 Plus and the S23 Ultra, I recommend charging them from the USB-C 1 port with the 65W output. When charging the base S23, the 30W USB-C port will do just fine.

Recharging this power bank is nearly as good as the output; in my review for the INIU 65W power bank, I could recharge it at nearly 45W using a UGREEN 45W charger. This power bank does not come with a wall charger, but I highly recommend recharging it at 45W as it has a high capacity, so you’ll want to recharge it as fast as possible. iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank

This iWalk LinkPod power bank isn’t going to charge your Galaxy S23 at its fastest speed, but this LinkPod power bank is one of the smallest and most user-friendly power banks that I’ve ever used. The first thing to know is that this power bank is tiny and shaped like a pod; it’s designed so that once you plug it into your phone, it becomes a part of it.

The only way to charge your S23 with this power bank is by the USB-C connector with an 18W power Delivery output. Yes, this is not the fastest charging speed for the Galaxy S23, but it’s still better than standard 12W and is an alright speed. Also, recharging is easy because you can either use the USB-C connector or the USB-C input to recharge the power bank, and they both have the same 18W Power Delivery recharge speed. In my review of the iWalk LinkPod USB-C mini power bank, I found that I could recharge it via the USB-C port and charge my phone from the USB-C connector, so this power bank does feature pass-through charging.

This iWalk power bank has a 4,800mAh capacity so that you will get, at least, close to a total capacity charge for your S23, but it won’t get it back to full power—an LCD showing the capacity at the front of the power bank.

If you want the ease of portability, with just enough capacity, somewhat fast charging, and a great design, this LinkPod power bank is good. Explore more features and hands-on experience in my iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank video review.

ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh 30W PD Power Bank

This ROMOSS PEA30 power bank will serve you well if you want tons of capacity. This charger has a 30,000mAh capacity, enough to charge the S23 Ultra with its 5,000mAh battery to full power about 3.5 times, possibly even four times. The lower-tier models of the S23 can likely get about 4.5 total charges.

Charging power from the ROMOSS PEA30 power bank is good but doesn’t have the optimal fast charging. The ports include a USB-C Power Delivery port with a 30W output, and two USB-A ports have a 22.5W output. You can fast charge your S23 via the USB-C, but this power bank does not have 45W PPS super fast charging, just something to make a note of. Also, in my review of the ROMOSS PEA30 power bank, fast charging is unavailable when charging three devices.

Recharging is unique for this PEA30 power bank because you can recharge the USB-C port, Lightning, or a Micro-USB port. Of course, I highly recommend using the USB-C port to recharge because it has a 30W Power Delivery recharging speed.

At the front of the power bank is an LCD that shows the remaining capacity. Gain detailed insights into its performance in my ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh 30W PD Power Bank video review.

Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank

This Baseus Blade power bank may be the only one you’ll need for not only your Galaxy S23 but also for all your other USB-C chargeable devices because this power bank has a 100W power delivery output. This Baseus power bank has two USB-C ports that can output 100W, one at a time, and the USB-A ports can output 30W.

The 100W USB-C ports on this power bank can be incredibly useful for charging laptops, tablets, and phones. In this case, you can fast charge any S23 model, even at 45W, for fast charging the S23 Plus and S23 Ultra.

Recharging this Baseus Blade power bank is very fast, too, because it has a 65W Power Delivery recharging speed. Design-wise, this power bank stands apart from the rest. You first notice that it has a slim form factor, as the Baseus Balde is only 0.7 inches thin. The most notable feature I found in my review for the Baseus Blade is that it has a screen at the top that shows the voltage and amperage; not many power banks show how long you have to use the power bank, and I find that a neat feature. Discover how it stands out from the rest in my comprehensive Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank video review.

iWalk LinkPod Y2 Power Bank with Built-in USB-C Cable

Another iWalk power bank I want to recommend is the LinkPod Y2 power bank. This one is similar to the other iWalk power bank that I recommended. Still, this one has a built-in cable that you can use to recharge your S23. Also, this power bank only has an 18W Power Delivery charging speed, so you can fast charge your Galaxy S23, but it will charge at its maximum rate.

The capacity for this LinkPod Y2 power bank is 9,600mAh, so regardless of which model of the S23 you have, you can charge it to full power at least once. Recharging is done from the built-in cable, as you can directly plug the cable into a wall charger and recharge the power bank at 18W, or you can use the USB-C input to recharge the power bank at 18W, too. In my review of the iWalk LinkPod Y2 power bank, I could recharge the power bank at nearly 18W from the built-in cable and the USB-C port.

This power bank also has an LCD, showing capacity and charging status. I’m recommending this power bank mainly because it has a built-in USB-C cable, so you don’t have to worry about carrying a cable around; as long as it is charged, it will be reliable. Learn more about its convenience and efficiency in my iWalk LinkPod Y2 Power Bank video review with Built-in USB-C Cable.

Baseus 20,000mAh 65W Power Bank

This Baseus power bank is slightly different than the other one; this power bank also has a 20,000mAh capacity, so you can charge your S23 to full power about two times, no matter which model you have. On the charging side, this power bank has a single USB-C port with a 65W Power Delivery output, and the USB-C port also features 45W of PPS super fast charging, so you can fast charge your Galaxy S23.

The other output ports are the two USB-A ports with a 30W output. You can fast charge your S23 using the USB-A ports. However, the phone will likely only charge at 18W. In my review of the Baseus 65W power bank, I could charge my Lenovo laptop and my Galaxy Note 9 simultaneously.

To recharge his Baseus power bank, you can use either the USB-C or the Micro-USB input port. I highly recommend using the USB-C port to recharge the power bank because it has a 65W recharging speed. On the other hand, the Micro-USB input only has an 18W recharging rate.

The screen on this Baseus power bank is similar to the Baseus Blade because it also shows the capacity, voltage, and amperage but does not show the estimated runtime.

Final thoughts about my choice of Power Banks for the Galaxy S23

The Galaxy S23 is a high-end phone from Samsung, but the awe of new phones isn’t there anymore. Yes, the tech is excellent, but it advances in such an incremental way. That said, if you are upgrading and are a heavy phone user, you may want to consider owning a power bank. Low or high capacity, it doesn’t matter what type of power bank you own; what matters is that it fits your charging needs. The iWalk LinkPod power banks have a low capacity but portability, while the ROMOSS PEA30 has a higher capacity but may not be as portable.
