Microsoft has been innovative with their new products in recent years, and their new Surface Laptop Go shows precisely that. The Surface Laptop Go is the lowest-priced, most lightweight, and smallest laptop from Microsoft that goes lower tier on its specs, but it’s primarily a beginner laptop. The top of the Laptop Go is made of Aluminum while the bottom is made of plastic, Surface device users may find that surprising, but it’s a reminder to know that it is genuinely trying to stay as low-cost as possible.
The Surface Laptop Go features a relatively low resolution 1536 x 1024 12.4 inch display, but it is at least a touchscreen but is not meant for drawing. There are three tiers of the Surface Laptop Go, and we recommend choosing one of the two higher tiers as they at least include 8GB of RAM and an SSD for the laptop. Charging is made easy for the Laptop Go because you can either use the USB-C port or the Surface Connect port to charge. For such a small laptop, we recommend charging with the SUrface Laptop Go with a power bank as you’re likely to be portable with it, and that’s why in this guide, we’re covering portable chargers to use with this Surface laptop.
Baseus Blade 20,000mAh 100W USB-C Power Delivery Power Bank
For this guide, we’re focusing on USB-C power banks to charge your Surface Laptop Go as it’s a more accessible way to charge rather than using Microsoft’s proprietary Surface Connect port. Starting out with this Baseus Blade 20,000mAh 100W Power Delivery power bank. Its 20,000mAh power capacity can charge the Surface Laptop to full power at least once, and you may have spare capacity left. Even though 20,000mAh may seem like a lot, know that power capacity is lost during charging, and even more with fast charging.
This Baseus Blade power bank features 100W max output that is shared between four ports, and the four ports include two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A ports. Each of the two USB-C ports can out 100W if you’re only charging a single device at a time from either of them, so it doesn’t matter which USB-C port you charge your Surface Laptop from. That said, charging multiple devices simultaneously does split the 100W output between the ports, but you’ll still be able to fast charge the Surface Laptop Go.
Design-wise, this Baseus power bank is excellent with its slim form factor and a digital display that shows the remaining power capacity, charging status, and remaining time of the power capacity.

Excitrus NitroCharge 120W 20,800mAh PD Power Bank
This Excitrus NitroCharge power bank has a 20,800mAh power capacity, very similar to the previous Baseus power bank, so you’re going to fair the same full single charge for the Surface Laptop Go. Charging is also great because this Excitrus power bank has a 120W max output shared among two USB-C Power Delivery, a USB-A Quick Charge port, and a wireless charging pad at the top of the power bank.
One of the USB-C ports has a 45W output, and the other USB-C port has a 100W output. You can use either of the USB-C ports to charge your Surface. You can charge four devices simultaneously with the two USB-C ports having a 45W and 30W split of power, while the USB-A port outputs 18W and the wireless charging pad outputs 10W, so charging four devices still lets you charge your Surface Laptop Go.
Recharging this Excitrus NitroCharge power bank is done through the 100W USB-C port, and the unit can be recharged at 65W with a 65W or more powerful PD wall charger. You don’t get a wall charger with the power bank, but you do get a USB-C charging cable.

RAVPower 30,000mAh 90W Power Delivery Power Bank
This RAVPower portable charger has a higher 30,000mAh power capacity, higher than the two previous power banks that we recommended. With a 30,000mAh capacity, you can charge the Surface Laptop Go to full power about two times if the Surface is the only device you’re charging.
Charging ports are minimal with this RAVPower power bank featuring a USB-C Power Delivery port and a USB-A Quick Charge port. A 90W max output is shared between the two ports, and you can use the full 90W Power Delivery output if you’re charging only a single device. Charging two devices drops the USB-C PD output to 65W, and the USB-A port will output 18W.
So even charging two devices simultaneously still lets you fast charge the Surface Laptop Go. You can recharge this power bank at 60W, and included in the box is a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.

Crave 50,000mAh 60W Power Delivery Power Bank
This Crave 50,000mAh Power Pack portable charger is even higher on the power, which may be the only power bank you’ll need for the next few years. Its 50,000mAh power capacity can charge the Surface Laptop Go to full power about four times or more; you can also charge plenty of devices to full power simultaneously as there’s a ton of power to use.
There are four ports, with the power bank featuring two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A Quick Charge ports. One of the USB-C ports has an 18W output, and the other has a 60W output; in this case, you should use the 60W USB-C port to charge your Surface.
The size of this power bank is large and heavy, and there’s no way you’re going to place it into your pocket, but it’s still easily portable to carry. The box includes a 45W PD wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.

Fanttik 2000 Amp 65W Portable Jump-Starter Power Bank
This Fanttik power bank we’re recommending is quite odd because it’s a portable jump-starter for cars, and at the same time, it has a 65W USB-C Power Delivery port. Most portable jump-starter power banks don’t feature such a powerful PD output, but this one can charge your Surface while still being able to jumpstarter your car with its 2000 Amp current if needed. However, this Fanttik charger is larger and heavier than most regular 20,000mAh power banks, so that’s something to consider if you want a 2-in-1 type of portable charger.

Baseus 20,000mAh 65W Power Delivery Power Bank
One other Baseus power bank that we wanted to recommend has the same 20,000mAh power capacity as the previous one we recommended. The power bank has a single 65W USB-C Power Delivery port and two USB-A Quick Charge ports. You can use the full 65W of PD if you’re charging a single device such as your Surface; charging multiple devices does drop down the 65W to 45W on the USB-C port.
This power bank can be recharged via the USB-C port or the Micro-USB input port. We highly recommend using the USB-C port for recharging as it can recharge the power bank at 60W with a PD wall charger, while the Micro-USB input port can only do 12W.
