A fan is a staple for warm weather during the Spring and Summer. In the modern day, you can find a fan in nearly any form factor with any size, and if you’re on the go, you may want a fan on the smaller side.
A mini portable fan may not sound ideal, but I’m looking at this JISULIFE handheld fan Pro1S in this review. Compared to many other portable handle fans on the market, this one is advanced by being incredibly small and still able to output tons of air.
Performance
So just starting, included in the box with the fan is a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, the manual, and a hook attachment that you can use to attach the fan to a backpack.
The fan can surprisingly output a ton of air regarding performance. The fan speed setting goes from 0 to 100, and each time you go up on the fan speed setting, it gets noticeably faster bit by bit. Even with the fan at its 40% setting, I’d say that would be good enough for most people’s needs.
That said, if you’re outside on a hot summer day, it’s 80+ degrees outside; you may find the need to set the fan above 40% power and possibly max it out at 100%. The reason that you’re not likely to always set the fan to 100% is mainly because of the fan noise. Since the fans’ blades are small when they spin fast, they can be quite loud; however, when you’re outside in oven-baking weather, you likely won’t care about fan noise.

That said, I can say that you wouldn’t expect this much air coming from such a small fan, and it can keep you cool in the right setting. So on the performance side, considering the small size of the fan, JISULIFE did a great job.

Design
The handheld fan has a 6.5-inch length and only weighs 9 ounces. At the back of the fan is the power switch, and you have to switch it up, and then you can press the dial at the front to turn it on. Once the fan turns on, the display also turns on at the front, and the screen on the fan is very bright and easy to read.
A few seconds after the screen is on, it shows the battery percentage, then switches to the fan speed. The dial at the front of the fan is used to adjust the fan speed, and it’s incredibly responsive.
At the back of the fan is where you’ll find the USB-C port for charging, and it has an 18W recharge speed, so I recommend that you use an 18W USB-A Quick Charge port or an 18W USB-C PD port. For my testing, I used a USB-C port to recharge the fan, which could charge at 18W.
Also, when it comes to the build quality of the JISULIFE Pro1S fan, it’s made very well. The fan’s body is made of metal, and then the weight of the fan is under 1 pound. Of course, I recommend you be careful not to drop it, but everything is still well put together.
Conclusion
Overall, the JISULIFE handheld fan Pro1S is an innovatively done fan. The fan has taken many forms, and this is one of the most intriguing and useful options I’ve recently seen. If you want an effective mini handheld fan that will cool you and is easy to take anywhere on a hot summer’s day, this one is a great choice.
