A desktop charger may be the only charger you’ll need because of how accessible it is with a power cord and because it features powerful charging. Sure, wall chargers with a built-in AC adapter can be more convenient, but you almost always have a long charging cable to use your phone or laptop while it charges comfortably.
I’m looking at this MOMAX 100W 4 port desktop charger in this review. This charger looks high-end, and better yet, it also comes with high-end charging. Let’s take a closer look.
Charging Power
As mentioned, this MOMAX charging station has a 100W max output. The charger has four ports, including two USB-C and two USB-A ports. The USB-C 1 and the USB-C 2 ports are the most powerful ports on this charger; however, when it comes to charging multiple devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port can output the most power, as power output does change depending on how devices you’re charging simultaneously.
The USB-C 1 and the USB-C 2 port can output 100W of Power Delivery if you’re charging a single device from the charger. At the same time, the two USB-A ports can output 22.5W when a single device is charging.
Charging from the two USB-C ports simultaneously causes the USB-C 1 port to output 65W and the USB-C 2 port to output 30W. Charging three devices simultaneously results in a 45W, 30W, and 18W power split from USB-C 1, USB-C 2, and one of the USB-A ports.
Charging four devices simultaneously gets a 45W output from USB-C 1, 30W from USB-C 2, and a 22.5W shared output from the two USB-A ports.
For my testing, I first began charging an Excitrus power bank from USB-C 1 alone, and it could recharge at the full 100W that the MOMAX charger could output. Next, I charged my Lenovo laptop from USB-C 2; however, because my Lenovo laptop fast charged with a port 45W or higher, my Lenovo laptop charged slowly because the USB-C 2 was outputting only 30W.
So I changed to charging my Excitrus power bank from USB-C 2 and my Lenovo laptop to USB-C 1; this resulted in my Lenovo laptop charging at 30W and the power bank charging at 30W.
With the power bank and laptop charging from the USB-C ports, I began charging my Note 9 from the USB-A 1 port, and it was able to fast charge, all while the power bank and laptop continued to charge 30W.
For the final test, I charged an LG G7 from the USB-A port, this caused the two phones to standard charge, and the power bank and laptop continued to charge at 30W. Overall, the charging power from this MOMAX 100W desktop charger is powerful, and you can potentially charge two laptops if you want to while also charging one or two phones.

Design
The MOMAX 100W charger is small, with a length and width of 3.3 inches and a thickness of about 1 inch. The charger weighs about 1 pound. The power cord that comes with the charger is 6.5 feet long, which is one of the best parts of this charger because you have more freedom when it comes to placement.
Once the charger is powered, a white LED power light turns on to the right.
All the charging ports can be found on the same side. One thing that makes this different from other desktop chargers is that it comes with a stand, so you can either place the charger horizontally without the stand or place it vertically with the stand. This charger does have rubber pads in case you don’t want to use the stand.

This MOMAX 100W desktop charger is built well, and in comparison to other brand chargers I’ve tested, it holds up just as well.
