On the charging speed side, both of them also have the same charging speed. With an output speed of 5V/1.0A and the input, recharge speed is also 5V/1.0A. These are slow charging speeds overall, but when it comes to mini power banks, a 1 Amp charging speed is the norm and you likely won’t get faster-charging speed unless you go into the higher capacity range of mini portable chargers.

Anker has started to become a more high tier brand, or at least that’s what they’re molding themselves into being. Anker PowerCore 10000

The PowerCore 10000 portable charger from Anker is one of the most purchased portable chargers within its class. It has a 10,000mAh capacity that can charge the most smartphone to full power about two times. Perhaps the most important part of power banks that have these capacities is that they’re very compact. With the PowerCore 10000 having only a length of 3.6 inches, a width of 2.4 inches and a thickness of 0.9 inches. So it’s almost as if this power bank has a mini capacity.

Charging power with the PowerCore 10000 is also very good as it has a single USB-A port that outputs 5V/2.4A and the recharge rate is 5V/2.0A. A charging speed of 2.4A is quite fast and can charge most Non-Quick Charge compatible devices at their max charging speed.

Overall, Anker has two main lines of products when it comes to their chargers. The “PowerCore” line is more baseline with their quality and the charging tech that they feature. While the PowerCore+ line of chargers are more premium and are made of Aluminum, and usually feature fast charging tech that can be useful for certain devices such as Quick Charge and USB-C.

The PowerCore+ 10050 has an Aluminum structure rather than the plastic structure of the regular PowerCore 10000.
