USB-C is the new standard of charging and connectively when it comes to portable devices. As most new Andriod smartphones are being released using USB-C. If an Andriod smartphone is still released with Micro-USB then that’s not really the type of smartphone that you’re going to want to get. Along with USB-C, there’s Power Delivery which is something that’s used with a few USB-C compatible devices.

The great thing about Power Delivery is that it’s universal in comparison to Quick Charge, and Power Delivery is what the USB-C port on this PowerPort II wall charger uses.
