When it comes music for working out, whether it’s running, lifting weights or any other fitness activity we want a device that’s going to be the least stressful to have on us.

One of the most used types of devices to listen to music with ease are usually earbuds and that’s because they’re very small, lightweight and easy to use.

With that said, they also come with their fair share of flaws as well because they can be brittle and break if you’re moving around a lot and most of them are not waterproof which is important for when you sweat.

That is why in this review we’re going over what these Anker SoundBuds NB10 Earbuds have to offer with their sound quality and usability. We think that they’re one of the best earbuds to have for when you’re deep into your workouts and allow you to go all out.

Power

Sound Performance:

For the most part, earbuds don’t have the best sound quality because most of them don’t have an overarching environment where you’re entire ear is covered.

That is why headphones exist as they offer a better sound experience. That said, the SoundBuds NB10 are still able to offer great sound quality because of their awesome design and also a tech feature that is able to block out sound so you’re able to listen to what matters most, which is your music.

So the first thing that is responsible for delivering a constantly good quality sound experience is that the earbuds are able to fit into your ear really well and stay in place. Most of the time earbuds begin to slide out of your ear after a while, but these ones don’t.

The sound experience is quite good because the SoundBuds NB10 use CVC 6.0 Noise cancellation which is able to block out sounds that are not related to your music.

So things like car horns, bird noises and other noises that have a chance of disrupting your sound experience don’t make their way to your ears nearly as well as they would without the technology.

Also, we’re talking about sound quality in terms of how the base sounds or how your electronica music sounds.

Well the earbuds do their best to keep the original sound of the music you’re listening to constant but if you’re turning up the volume to max power on your smartphone and on the earbuds themselves you may not be able to get the highest quality sound as there might be distortion.

Some people have had problems with the Base being too weak with earbuds and the best way to solve this problem is adjust the base setting on your smartphone to equalize the sound. Overall, the NB10 earbuds try their best give you a high-quality sound experience but can have their flaws if you’re expecting too much. As long as you’re not an Audiophile you should be good.

Conversation Performance:

Of course, since these are Bluetooth headphones, they’re also a headset too, so you’re able to have conversations over the phone with other people with them.

The sound quality while talking on the phone with the NB10 is actually really good and it’s even better than talking to someone over just your smartphone because the earbuds offer a more enclosed place for listening and the person that you’re talking to is better able to hear your voice as well.

Battery Power:

The battery power on these headphones can last up to 6 hours if you’re continuously listening to them.

Now for some people, this much battery power is going to be quite good or bad depending on what your needs are. If you want earbuds that you can use for the entirety of your workout then these NB10 earbuds are perfect. If you want earbuds that are going to last the entire day with constant listening then that may not be possible because of their 6-hour runtime.

Design

Size and Weight:

The size and the weight of the Bluetooth earbuds are really good. That’s because the length of the NB10 earbuds are about 6 inches if we’re talking about the form factor that they’re in when you wear them.

The best part is how they’re really lightweight because the earbuds only weigh 0.6 ounces so even though they do go over your ears, you won’t feel a thing when you have them on.

Functional Components:

The form factor of the NB10 earbuds is one of the most useful functional parts of the earbud as whole because the way that they go over your ear allow them to be able to fit perfectly.

On the top of the earbuds is where there’s the Over-Ear Hook that’s able to keep them in place. The other aspect pertaining to fitting perfectly is the Ergonomic Eartips that ensure that the earbuds are able to stay inside of your ear as close as possible for the best quality sound experience.

The adjustable FitClip at the back allows you to adjust the headset for your own head.

Buttons

All of the functional parts of the of earbuds are on the Right earbud. That’s where you’re going to find the Volume button up and down ones.

Then there’s a Multifunctional button that controls the Play/Pause/ Answer calls/End calls and this button can also Skip Songs. To the side of the buttons is where there’s a LED indicator to show that the NB10 is on and ready to pair.

Then on the opposite side of where the LED light indicator is, there’s the Micro-USB Input port for recharging and a Noise-Cancelling Microphone.

Comfort:

For the most part, the Anker SoundBuds NB10 are comfortable earbuds that are able to be worn for long periods of time. This can mostly be attributed to the fact that they have a very ergonomic design that is able to go around your ears and grip onto your ears quite tightly.

Reliability

The Anker SoundBuds NB10 are very reliable for whatever activity you’re doing and the best part is that even though the wire does go around your head, it won’t get in your way because of how flexible it is. The sound quality is quite good and the use of CVC noise cancellation tech allows you to listen to your music at a high-quality standard.

The only unreliable part of the NB10 earbuds is its battery life because it has a 6-hour battery life when it comes to actually use the earbuds with sounds.

Summary:

Sound Quality

It has quite a good sound quality that is able to keep noise out through a noise cancellation microphone, and the way that the earbuds are designed is really good as they can fit over your ears very well and channel the sound.

Comfort:

When it comes to comfort, these earbuds are really good because they have a very ergonomic design that hugs your ears and don’t fall out or get loose.

Reliability

They’re reliable for the most part as they have offered good sound quality and they also have a great grip once you have them on. The only unreliable part is the longevity of the battery power that these earbuds have.

Conclusion:

Overall, these earbuds are able to offer great sound quality and a wearable experience that is quite a lot better than other earbuds on the market.
