Wall chargers are the most used type of chargers, as you most likely already use the same wall charger that came with your phone. Expect the iPhone 12, as it no longer comes with a wall charger.

However, wall chargers that are included in the box with a new smartphone only have a single charging port, and that can be highly limiting if you’re looking to charge multiple devices at the same time.

In this review, we’re taking a look at this Aukey PA-T11 6-Port dual Quick Charge desktop charging station. The charger can charge plenty of devices at the same time, and it’s also able to fast charge two smartphones, too.

Power

Output Charging:

There is no denying that this Aukey PA-T11 desktop charger is going to provide you with a great charging experience as it features six ports. So you’re able to charge six devices at the same time. Each of the ports is also quite powerful.

Four of the USB-A ports feature a 5V/2.4A (12W) charging speed, and the other two USB-A ports feature Quick Charge 3.0 with each of them being able to fast charge Quick Charge compatible Android smartphones at an 18W charging speed.

This desktop charger does not feature USB-C Power Delivery, so you won’t be able to charge laptops with it, just something that we wanted to make clear.

That said, another great benefit of this desktop charger is its 60W max output, which allows you to use more ports at the same time, and still maintain a constant fat charging speed. This means that you can still fast charge two Android smartphones at the same time, and still have another four devices charging from the standard ports.

Design

Size and Weight:

This is going to be larger than a wall charger, as this Aukey charger has six ports, but it’s not going to cause any problems. As the charging block itself has a length of 4 inches, a width of 2.8 inches, and a thickness of 1 inch. The weight of the charger is 7 ounces.

The only real difference that you’ll have with portability or using this PA-T11 charger is its use of a power cord, rather than using a built-in adapter. That said, the use of a power cord does make it easier to place the charger closer to yourself or wherever you want your devices to charge.

Functional Components:

In the box, you’ll find the charging brick itself and the power cord. Once you connect the power cord to the charging brick, you just plug the power cord into an AC outlet and you’re ready to use it. The charging brick does have a small green power light to show that it’s powered and ready to use.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of this PA-T11 desktop charger is top-notch, and basically what you can expect for Aukey in general. The entire charger is plastic, but it’s solid, and will last a very long time.

Tech:

Even with charging six devices at the same time, this desktop charger does not get warm. With a 60W max output and good thermals that are built-in, you can expect this charger to stay cool.

Reliability

This is the go-to desktop charger for charging multiple devices and fast charging two Android smartphones at the same time. The use of two Quick Charge ports is useful for those that own Android smartphones and even the standard ports have great charging power with a 12W charge rate for each.

The only thing this desktop charger is missing is a USB-C Power Delivery port for charging laptops or fast charging an iPhone 12.

The build quality of this charger is top-notch, and you won’t have to worry about it breaking apart.
