At this point, Power Delivery chargers are everywhere. Hence, you have plenty of options for whether you want an incredibly higher Power Delivery output or a charger with a low output. It all depends on your charging needs. However, we’ve almost always recommended that you go with a higher PD charger because even though you may only need to charge your phone, you may need to charge a USB-C laptop.

If you’re looking for a charger mainly meant for smartphones and tablets, you may want to consider this Baseus 30W SuperSi 2-port wall charger. This Baseus charger doesn’t have a high output, but it has a good charging rate for fast charging smaller USB-C chargeable devices.

Power

Output Charging:

This Baseus SuperSi wall charger has two ports, one is a USB-C Power Delivery port, and the other is a USB-A Quick Charge port. The max output of this charger is 30W. So nothing too outrageous about this charger, but it’s useful for most phones and tablets.

If you’re only charging a single device, then the USB-C port will output the full 30W. With a 30W charging speed, you can charge tablets like iPad, Samsung tablets like the Galaxy Tab S7, Tab S8, and other USB-C tablets at faster speeds. Also, when charging a single device from the USB-C port, you can use the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) charging; we were able to charge a Samsung Galaxy S20 at 25W speed because of the USB-C port’s usage of PPS.

When charging two devices, the USB-C output drops from 30W to 18W, and the USB-A port outputs 12W. We charged a Samsung Galaxy S20 and an LG G7 at the same time, the Galaxy S20 dropped to regular fast charging, and the LG G7 was only able to charge at a standard speed. Not too bad as you can still at least fast charge one device when charging two devices simultaneously.

Overall, the output charging is excellent if you’re looking to charge phones or tablets only with this Baseus SuperSi charger.

Design

Size and Weight:

This Baseus charger is tiny. The charger has a width of 1.3 inches and a length of 1.8 inches. Since the charger has an elongated form factor, you can place it into either the top or bottom outlet without covering the other one. With its foldable plug, this charger is easy to be portable with.

Functional Components:

It’s like using any other wall charger. Just unfold the plugs and plug the charger into an outlet. Once the charger is powered, a blue power light turns on, and you can begin charging.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of the charger is what you can expect from Baseus, and that would be a solid structure to the wall charger.

Tech:

The charger does get a bit warm during charging, most likely due to its tiny size; however, heat is generated no matter what charger you’re using.

Reliability

This Baseus SuperSi 2-port wall charger will be reliable for most phones and tablets for fast charging. It’s not very reliable for charging USB-C laptops as most laptops require more than a 30W Power Delivery charging speed. You may be able to charge a USB-C Macbook as those have been known to accept lower wattage Power Delivery charge rates.

Summary:

Power:

The charger has a 30W max output, and you can use the full 30W from the USB-C port if you’re charging a single device. Charging two devices result in the USB-C port outputting 18W, and the USB-A port outputs 12W.

Design:

The charger is small, and it helps that it has a foldable plug, so it doesn’t get in the way.

Build:

The charger has a solid build, and it does get slightly warm during charging, but that is normal for all chargers to do.

Reliability:

If you’re looking to charge phones and tablets, this Baseus SuperSi charger will be very reliable, but it doesn’t have enough power to charge most laptops.
