Are we writing a review for our very own SAIL01 Power Delivery wall charger? Yes, we are because this is an excellent way to show what the charger is capable of and see if it’s the right fit for you. Like any other review, the goal of this review is to provide transparency and make sure that you’re alright with spending your money on a product that you know is quality.
We do not promise the world here, though, just a good charger that will last you a long time, deliver fast charging speeds, and reliable customer service if you ever need it. Let’s take a closer look at what the SAIL01 PD charger can do for you.
Power
Output Charging:
The SAIL01 Power Delivery wall charger features two USB-C ports, with USB-C 1 being the best port for charging smartphones, and USB-C 2 is best for charging laptops or tablets, which can charge at faster speeds.
USB-C 1 has an 18W Power Delivery charge rate. However, USB-C 2 has a dynamic charging speed because it changes depending on how many devices you’re charging.
Charging only from USB-C 2 enables you to receive 65W, and that’s enough power to charge most USB-C laptops, tablets and it can be used to fast charge most phones. That said, charging two devices simultaneously to the SAIL01 wall charger makes USB-C 2 output 45W, and USB-C 1 can still output 18W, so you can still fast charge a smartphone while charging a laptop.
In our tests for the SAIL01, we charged a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 laptop and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 simultaneously. The Note 9 was able to fast charge, and the Lenovo laptop was able to charge at about 25W to 30W, which is the laptop’s max charge rate. The Lenovo laptop would charge a tad bit faster if we were charging it alone.
We were also able to charge a Lenovo laptop via the USB-C 2 port and a Microsoft Surface Go tablet via USB-C 1.
Another feature of teh SAIL01 PD wall charger is that USB-C 2 uses Programmable Power Supply (PPS) fast charging that can super fast charge the Samsung Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S21 at a faster rate of 25W. In our tests, we charged a Samsung Galaxy S20 via USB-C 2, and the phone could charge at about 25W.
The SAIL01 Power Delivery wall charger may also be used to charge an iPhone, but you must have a USB-C to Lightning cable to charge your iPhone as the iPhone still uses a Lightning port and does not use a USB-C port. Yet. Included in the box is a USB-C to USB-C cable that you can use to charge USB-C devices in the box, but again, that cable will not work with iPhones.

Design
Size and Weight:
Since the SAIL01 wall charger uses Gallium Nitride (GaN), it makes the charger smaller while still being able to output as much power it’s capable of. The SAIL01 charger has a length/width of 2 inches and a thickness of 1 inch. The charger weighs 6 ounces. It’s much smaller than a USB-C charging brick that came with this Lenovo laptop and smaller than an Apple Macbook charger.
The charger can quickly be taken anywhere without worrying about the pins getting damaged with the foldable plug.
Functional Components:
Using the SAIL01 Power Delivery wall charger is like using any other wall charger; all you have to do is plug the charger into an outlet, and you’re ready to use it.
Build
Structure and Material:
The build quality of the SAIL01 Power Delivery wall charger is as good as the top brands that you can find on the market. However, if you ever receive a defective charger, contact us, and we’ll send over a replacement ASAP.
Tech:
With the SAIL01 being so small and still able to output a max output of 65W, the charger does get a little warm, but it never gets hot. You may be asking yourself, “It gets warm? Isn’t that a bad thing?”, well, heat is always generated when you’re charging, and this is true for any charger that exists. However, when a charger gets smoldering hot and starts melting itself, that is a concern.

Reliability
So should you purchase the SAIL01 PD wall charger? Yes. If you require a tiny USB-C Power Delivery wall charger to charge a USB-C laptop, tablet, or smartphone, then this one is it. We’re talking about the flagship laptops, too, such Macbooks, Lenovo laptops, Microsoft Surface devices that charge via USB-C, which is most of them, LG laptops, and many more.
If you’re not sure if the SAIL01 can charge your device, then contact us at this email: [email protected]. We’ll be able to tell you, so you’re not wasting your time or your money.
The charger even comes with a cable, so you can start using it immediately.

Summary:
Power:
Charging power for the SAIL01 wall charger is dynamic with 65W output via USB-C 2 when charging a single device or 45W from USB-C 2 when charging two devices with the wall charger. SAIL01 also features 25W PPS super fast charging for newer Samsung phones such as the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S21.
Design:
SAIL01 is incredibly small and may very well be the tiniest wall charger that you have ever owned thus far. Sure, you can get a smaller wall charger than the SAIL01, but it will likely have a lower power output and charge your devices slower.
Build:
The build quality is just as good as top-tier brands on the market while being offered at a much lower cost.
Reliability:
The SAIL01 PD wall charger can charge most USB-C PD-compatible devices, including laptops, tablets, or smartphones. You also get more charging power when charging from USB-C 2 alone with an output of 65W, which increases the number of devices you can charge. You can start charging from the SAIL01 right out of the box because it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
