Ever since Aukey was booted off of Amazon, it seems that other brands are stepping up to the plate to sell their own chargers. A good move, but you also have to look at what these chargers are offering, and one of the newer brands to the game is Cirtek. Cirtek has released a few new products on the market, from simple 20W single USB-C PD port wall chargers, more powerful 100W PD chargers.
In this review, we’re taking a look at this Cirtek 65W 3-Port Power Delivery wall charger that uses GaN that makes it have a smaller size. If you need a small PD charger that isn’t as large as a charging brick that most USB-C laptops come with, then it may be a good idea to get this Cirtek one. Let’s see how it performs first.
Power
Output Charging:
The charging from this Cirtek wall charger is easy to understand. It can definitely be useful for charging either larger devices such as USB-C laptops or smaller devices like smartphones.
USB-C 1 is the most powerful port that can output the most power, and it’s basically the go-to port if you want to charge laptops. If you’re only charging from USB-C 1, it has an output of 65W, and that’s high enough to charge most USB-C laptops, and this includes Macbooks, one of the most popular laptops on the market. In our tests, we charged a Lenovo Flex 5 laptop via USB-C 1, and it was able to charge it at max power. The charger that comes with the Flex 5 laptop is also 65W.
USB-C 2 has a max output of 18W, and this port is meant for fast charging smartphones, as 18W is not enough for charging most USB-C laptops. The USB-A port on this wall charger features Quick Charge, so you can fast charge Quick Charge compatible smartphones with it, as well as non-Quick Charge compatible phones.
Charging devices simultaneously is where this Cirtek wall charger goes through dynamic charging. That’s because if you’re charging more than one device at a time, then USB-C 1 goes from 65W to 45W; this includes charging from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2 at the same time, or if you’re charging from all three ports simultaneously.
However, if you’re charging from all three ports, simultaneously USB-C 2 and the USB-A port share a 15W output and basically lose their fast charging capabilities.
Our tests charged a Lenovo Flex 5 laptop via USB-C 1 and a Microsoft Surface Go via USB-C 2 simultaneously. Charging speed for the Flex 5 did not change, and that’s likely because the laptop considers 45W to be still a sufficient amount of power which is proven with our reviews on PD chargers.

Design
Size and Weight:
The charger is small, and that’s basically what you can expect from most wall chargers on the market at this point. This Cirtek charger has a length of 2.5 inches and a thickness of 1.3 inches; along with the foldable plug, this charger is straightforward to take anywhere.
Functional Components:
It’s just like using any other wall charger, and all you have to do is unfold the AC plug and plug it into an outlet, then you’re ready to use it. The charger does not come with a USB-C to USB-C cable, so you will have to provide your own.
Build
Structure and Material:
The charger has a good build, and the foldable plug is great to use every time you use the charger.

Tech:
The charger does get warm during charging, especially if you’re using USB-C 1 to charge a laptop. Heat generating is normal for a wall charger, and you’re going to find that this happens to every wall charger you use simply because there’s nowhere for that heat to go. This is especially true for GaN chargers such as this Cirtek one.
Reliability
If you have a USB-C chargeable laptop, then this Cirtek wall charger is definitely worth getting, as you can still charge an additional two devices, and USB-C 1 will still output 45W, which is still lots of power for charging a laptop.
