Wireless charging has come a long way from only being used with smartphones, as the accessories that are compatible with phones are now using wireless charging. As Bluetooth earbud cases can be charged wirelessly, and so are smartwatches such as the Apple Watch. If you’re someone that uses wireless charging heavily because it’s convenient to use as you don’t have to use a cable to plug into your devices, then this review may be for you.

In this review, we’re taking a look at this GEEKRA 3 in 1 wireless charging stand. The charger can charge a smartwatch, an earbuds case, and a smartphone at the same time wirelessly, definitely a good option if you have all three devices that can charge with no wires.

Power

Output Charging:

Charging from the GEEKERA charging triple wireless charging and is not complicated, even though the charger does look different than what you’re used to seeing. At the front is where you can place your smartphone; at the back, you charge an earbuds case or another wireless charging smartphone, and at the top is the charging pad for smartwatches like the Apple Watch. In fact, the smartwatch that you can charge with this GEEKERA charger is Apple Watches, so you cannot charge Samsung Galaxy watches with this charger. The power output of the top charging pad is 3W.

 

The charging pad at the front is the pad that offers the fast charging speed, as it has a 10W charging speed for Samsung smartphones and 7.5W for iPhones; other Qi wireless charging smartphones will charge at 5W. There are quite a few charging pads that can charge three devices at the same time. However, this GEEKERA one is better as you can keep your phone standing and use it. You can also turn your phone sideways and watch videos while your phone charges.

 

At the back of the charger is another charging pad that you can use to charge another smartphone, or you can use it to charge an earbuds case that charges wirelessly. The output of the back pad is 5W, so it does not output fast charging.

Input Power:

One of the most important things to know about using this GEEKERA charging stand is to use a Quick Charge wall charger to power it fully. The good news is that you don’t really need to worry about it because included in the box are a Quick Charge wall charger and a USB-C to USB-A cable; as a result, you can start using the stand right out of the box.

Also, the use of a USB-C port on the stand is a great choice because, at this point, Micro-USB is too out of date.

Design

Size and Weight:

As we mentioned before, compared to a charging pad that can charge three devices, this GEEKERA stand has a much smaller footprint of about 3 inches. So it won’t take up nearly as much space, and it’s still able to charge three devices wirelessly.

Functional Components:

At the back of the charger is where the USB-C input port is located, and in teh box is where you’ll find the USB-C to USB-A cable and a Quick Charge wall charger to power the charger. When a device is charging on the stand, one Green LED light turns on at the front of the charger, and the good thing is that the LED light is very dim and barely noticeable in the dark.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of the charging stand is great, as it has a plastic soft-touch material that’s durable and makes the charger look and feel premium. It’s not the grainy plastic that tends to make products feel cheap. Structurally, the charger holds up well, and we don’t think it’ll break apart unless it falls from a high height.

Tech:

The charger does get a little warm during charging. However, the heat that is generated is centered around each charging point as the coil is the part that gets warm during charging. That said, heat is completely normal during charging, especially wireless charging. There are vent holes at the back of the stand to let heat escape.

Reliability

This GEEKERA charging stand is a great product if you want to charge three devices simultaneously in the name of convenience. Along with the ease of use, the charging stand is a lot smaller than a pad that can charge three devices, and GEEKERA stands still features fast charging for iPhones.

Summary:

Power:

Charging power is great, as this stand has fast wireless charging available for iPhones on the standing pad; it also has two other pads that can be used to charge an Apple Watch and Airpods with wireless charging.

Design:

The stand form factor of this wireless charger is better than a pad that has three coils as everything is consolidated into a smaller part.

Build:

The charger has a solid build, and it does get warm on its charging coils. However, that is normal for wireless charging.

Reliability:

Definitely a reliable charging stands as you can charge three devices; the only real unreliable part is that it can only charge Apple smartwatches.
