If you’re looking to choose the right power bank for your device or want one that can charge multiple types of devices that each use a different charging port, then you may be in luck. In this review, we’re looking at this INIU 10,000mAh B2 power bank with a pretty nifty design that integrates cables straight into the power bank; another great benefit of this INIU power bank is that it comes with four different types of charging cables.

Yes, you are getting four different cables with this power bank, while most power banks only come with one that you would use to recharge the power bank. This is a bit of a different charger with a nice touch of quality-of-life improvements.

Power

Power Capacity:

A 10,000mAh power capacity is nothing new, so it’s easy to understand what this power bank can charge to full power. With the B2 power bank, you’re going to be able to charge most phones to full power at least once; however, with newer model phones that have top-tier specs, such as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with its 5,000mAh battery, you’ll only be able to charge the phone to full power only once. You will have some excess capacity, though.

Charging tablets to full power can be done at least once, depending on the tablet’s battery. Overall, the 10,000mAh capacity is good enough for phones and tablets and is a standard issue for any power bank you plan to purchase. You likely shouldn’t get a power bank with a capacity lower than 10,000mAh at this point because they are not enough to charge a phone to full power anymore.

Output Charging:

The charging power is decent from this INIU power bank, but one letdown is that it doesn’t feature any fast charging. The power bank has one USB-A port and two USB-C ports. The max output of the power bank is 5V/3.0A  (15W), so you can use the full 15W from a single port if you’re charging a single device, but that power gets split up when charging multiple devices.

We would have liked to have seen an 18W USB-C port or a USB-A Quick Charge port, but that would have likely added to the price.

The included cables within the power bank make up for the lack of fast charging. In the box, you get the following wires:

  • USB-C to Lightning Cable
  • USB-C to Micro-USB Cable
  • USB-C to USB-C Cable
  • USB-C to USB-A Cable

With all these cables, you can practically charge any phone or tablet right out of the box with this power bank. This is the universal power bank to get if you’re not sure which power bank will be able to work outright with your phone because these included cables cover it all, from charging iPhones to Android phones and even charging older Android phones or other devices using the Micro-USB port.

In our test, we charged an LG G7 from the USB-A port, a Galaxy Note 9 from the middle USB-C port, and an Apple iPad from the other USB-C port. None of the devices were fast charging, but they could charge simultaneously.

Input Charging:

Recharging this power bank is done through the outside USB-C port that reads “In/Out,” it’s best to recharge the power bank with a 15W wall charger or higher to recharge it at max speed.

Design

Size and Weight:

This is a mini power bank with a length of 4 inches, a width of 2.5 inches, and a thickness of 1 inch. The power bank weighs 6.9 ounces. You won’t have trouble taking this power bank with you daily.

Functional Components:

The design of this power bank is one of its best features. The Lightning, Micro-USB, and USB-C to USB-C cables are all designed to fit into the middle USB-C compartment and another compartment without a port. By fitting any of these cables into the compartments, the cable takes a loop shape, making portability with the cable and the power bank easier, as the cable isn’t dangling around everywhere.

Also, at the top of the power bank is a screen showing the remaining power capacity, and you can press a touch-sensitive part on the screen to turn it on. Most power banks use a physical button, but this is one of the first to use a touch-sensitive area.

Build

Structure and Material:

The power bank is solidly built, and the four included cables are well-built. The only real setback with the cables is how short they are, but it goes with the portability aspect of the power bank.

Tech:

Even when we charged three devices simultaneously, the power bank did not get warm. This is likely because the max output is only 15W, which isn’t very high enough to generate very much heat.

Reliability

If you’re looking for a power bank to charge your phone or tablet and want a cable to use outright of the box, then this INIU power bank is an excellent choice because it comes with four different cables compatible with nearly all phones and tablets.

The unreliable aspect is that this INIU B2 power bank has no fast charging.

Summary:

Power:

The 10,000mAh power capacity is decent enough to get most phones to full power at least two times. Charging power is okay with a 15W max output, but there is no fast charging, such as Quick Charge or Power Delivery.

Design:

The power bank is small and lightweight. Three of the four included cables have a unique design that allows both ends to fit into the power bank and become part of the portable charger, making portability easier.

Build:

The build of the power bank is good, and the included cables are rugged, too, and don’t seem like they’d break easily.

Reliability:

The unreliable central part of the power bank is that there is no fast charging, and it would have been great to have at least one USB-C port featuring an 18W Power Delivery output.

Conclusion:

The INIU B2 power bank may have decent charging power and an option for ports, but what makes it worth purchasing is the unique design that most power banks don’t have. You get four cables included with the power bank; three are specially designed to fit into the power bank to make portability easier and ensure you always have a cable to use with the power bank when needed.
