Charging cables are going to be needed with any charging electronics and you may think that Wireless chargers don’t require cables, but they do in order to be powered on.

With that said, power banks are the type of charging electronics that having a cable is vital because if you don’t have one when you’re on-the-go then you’re stuck with an unusable piece of portable power.

That is why this Jackery Warrior130 power bank exists. It has quite a lot of charging options that make it an all-around reliable portable charger that you’re able to take with you anywhere and use wherever you are.

It might just be reliable for those around you that need some charging as well. Let’s take a closer to look to see what makes this power bank one of the best to take with you.

Power

Power Capacity:

The power capacity is nothing too impressive but it’s perfect for what the power bank delivers because the capacity is small enough for the power bank to actually fit into a pocket.

Also, the capacity is higher than most common Mini power banks at 6,000mAh. We’ll explain the charging options in just a minute but there are 3 options for charging and you can use them all the same time.

With that said, the Max Output of the power bank is 5V/2.4A. Overall, you’re going to be receiving an average conversion no matter how many devices you’re charging with the Jackery Warrior130.

3.7 x 6,000 = 22,200 / 5 = 4,440

So most of the time, you’re going to be receiving 4,500mAh of power capacity that you’re actually going to be able to use and that is quite good. Nearly any smartphone is going to be able to charge to full power using that Output power capacity.

An iPhone 7 is able to charge 2 full times, a Google Pixel can charge to full power 1.5 times, and the Samsung Galaxy S8 can charge 1.5 full times.

It’s a great power bank for smartphones and can charge even smartphones that have very high capacities at their limit.

Power Capacity for Tablets

However, when the power capacity comes for tablets, the Jackery Warrior130 is best to sit that battle out. Even if we’re talking about an iPad Mini 2 or 4, they each have battery capacities that are simply too high for the Warrior130 power bank to charge to full power.

You wouldn’t be able to utilize the power capacity nearly as well as you would with charging smartphones or other small devices.

Output Charging:

Even though there are 3 charging options when it comes to this power bank, it’s quite easy to understand.

Two of them include built-in cables with one being a Lightning cable that is going to be useful for charging iPhones or iPads and the other built-in cable is a Micro-USB for Android devices and other devices that use Micro-USB for recharging purposes.

Three Options for Charging

Most power banks have just a single built-in cables, but this Jackery power bank has two different cables and even though you might use only one, the other cable is great to have if you’ve got a friend that’s in need of power and you both can charge your devices at once with the two built-in cables.

Then there’s the third option for charging which is the USB Port. The use of a USB Port is quite unexpected because you would think that Jackery would call it a day with two built-in cables, but no. That’s not the case here, and it’s wonderful that you can use any charging cable with the USB port and have 3 devices charging at once with the power bank.

Charging Speeds with a Max Output of 2.4A

With all that said, we need to go over the charging speed. The Jackery Warrior130 uses a 5V/2.4A overall charging Output.

So if you use just a single charging option, the power bank will be able to utilize the 2.4A charging speed with that specific option for charging that you’re using.

So if you’re using the Micro-USB built-in cable and the Lightning cable, then the 5V/2.4A charging speed will be split into 5V/1.2A for each of the built-in cables which would ultimately make charging slower for each of the devices that are charging at the same time.

Then if you’re charging 3 devices, then charging speeds might be 5V/0.8A(800mA) for each of the charging options and so all 3 devices are going to be charging quite slowly.

Overall, if you want the best charging experience when it comes to this power bank, you’re better off just charging a single device or charging 2 devices at once. As 3 devices are going to be pushing the Overall Output and make charging slow.

Input Charging:

The recharging of the power bank is quite good at 5V/2.0A and as long as you’re using a 2 Amp USB wall charger, the power bank is able to charge to its power within just 4 hours on average.

Size and Weight:

The size and weight of the power bank can only be described as being perfect.

The Jackery Warrior130 has a length of 4.3 inches, a width of 1.9 inches and a thickness of 0.9 inches. The weight of it is 5.3 ounces. Considering what it has: Two built-in cables, a USB port, and a 6,000mAh power capacity, all of this is able to fit into your pocket or you can hold it in your hand while charging your smartphone.

There’s nowhere that you can’t take this power bank.

Functional Components:

The Jackery power bank is easy to use with all of its functional parts being close together and the way the built-in cables have been implemented is done very well.

On the short side of the power bank is where you can find the power button, the USB port, Micro-USB Input port, and a LED flashlight.

The power button must be pressed to begin charging and it’s also used to turn on the flashlight by double tapping it and double tapping it again to turn off the flashlight.

As for the flashlight itself, it’s not really too bright and this is quite common for most power banks that use a flashlight. However, it’s nice to have if you ever did need a flashlight on you.

The two built-in cables are to the side of the Warrior130 and can’t be seen at all until they’re pulled out. The length of the cables is about 4 inches and it’s a good length that keeps your devices close to the power bank while they’re charging.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of this Jackery power bank is absolutely solid, as it has an Aluminum casing. The cables are built into the power bank solidly and when they’re placed back into the power bank, it’s almost as if they don’t exist.

However, when you do take the built-in cables out of the power bank for charging, we’re not too sure just how far you can bend the cables before their integrity gives out. We weren’t going to go to extremes, but as long as you’re using the power bank normally without any jerky movements, you’ll be good.

Tech:

On the tech side, the Jackery Warrior130 does everything right, as it doesn’t heat up and it has an average conversion rate. Also, we’ve been using it for about a month and a half and there have been no hiccups at all with this portable charger.

Reliability

This is one of the few Mini power banks that make use of so many charging options and that’s what makes it so reliable. If you own an Android smartphone that uses Micro-USB or if you have an iPhone then this power bank is for you.

Even owning an Android smartphone that uses USB-C, it still makes sense to have this power bank because it has a USB port that can be used by any charging cable.

The power capacity is enough to charge smartphones to full power a few times, when you accumulate everything together, the size and weight of the power bank with all of its functionalities, the Jackery Warrior130 power bank is as reliable as it gets in the Mini segment of power banks.
