Power banks are a dynamic type of charging electronic and the reason for that is because they’re portable.

They can have different power capacities, different amounts of USB ports and the capabilities that they have such as having a built-in cable or being a tough Rugged power bank can all change the way that they work.

However, some of the best power banks are on the market are the normal ones.

This the Kinps 10,000mAh power bank has some of the most usual aspects that a portable charger can have and that’s what makes it so good.

Well, it’s not all that usual either because it does have parts of it that make it better than some other power banks on the market.

Power Capacity:

The power capacity of this Kinps power bank is quite average at 10,000mAh and the conversion rate of the power bank is also quite average.

Although the conversion of the power capacity is going to depend on how you’re using the power bank itself. The reason for that is because it has two USB ports and the Max Output of the power bank is quite high.

This is why, for this review, we’re going to assume that you’re going to be using just a single USB port most of the time and if that’s the case, then you’re going to be receiving an average Output power capacity that you’re able to use.

An Output of power capacity of 7,400mAh that you can utilize towards your devices is very good and makes this power bank very helpful for long Mid Long-term use.

If you’re charging two devices with this power bank then just subtract 1,500mAh and you’re most likely going to be getting 5,900mAh of power if you’re charging two devices at once because the charger will be using more power.

With that said, 7,400mAh of power is going to be very useful when it comes to charging smartphones and that’s what this power bank is mainly meant for.

Since you’re able to charge a Galaxy S8 with its massive 3,000mAh of power, two times to a full charge. An iPhone 7 can charge to full power about 3.5 times and a Google Pixel can be at full power about 2.5 times with this Kinps power bank.

The charger can easily handle charging smartphones multiple times to their full power.

Power Capacity for Tablets

When it comes to charging tablets, this power bank is still quite useful but you’re not going to get the same range that you would get if you were to charge tablets.

That’s because this can even Mini tablets such as an iPad Mini 2 or an iPad Mini 4 can charge once or twice to their full power and then the power bank will be nearly depleted of its power.

It has a great power capacity when it comes to charging smartphones, but not so much when it comes to tablets.

Output Charging:

There are two USB ports. The charging speed and the charging design of this power bank are great. That’s because each of the USB ports has a charging speed of 5V/2.4A and the Max Output of the power bank is 3.5A

A 2.4A charging speed can charge most smartphones and tablets such as iPads at their max power.

However, this power bank does not feature Quick Charge and so if you own a Quick Charge compatible smartphone then this power bank will not charge it at its max charging speed.

If you’re using both of the USB ports at the same time and the max Output of 3.5A is being reached then each of the ports will have a charging speed of 5V/1.75A which is pretty good and a better than the common charging design of one USB port having a slower charging speed than the other.

Input Charging:

The recharging speed of this power bank is just as good as the Output speed because it has a recharging speed of 5V/2.4A and as long as you’re using a 2.4 Amp USB wall charger or higher then the power bank can charge to its full power in about 5 hours or a little more than that.

Size and Weight:

The size and weight of this power bank match its powering capabilities and that is a very good thing because it means that this charger can go anywhere with you.

It has a length of 4.9 inches, a width of 2.7 inches, and a thickness of 0.5 inches. The weight of the charger is 7.4 ounces.

So you’re able to take this power bank everywhere and that can be very useful if you want a portable power source that can last long and provide powerful charging.

Functional Components:

All of the functional parts of this Kinps power bank are on a single side and that includes the Micro-USB Input port, the two USB ports, 4 Blue LED power capacity indicators, and a power button.

Charging does not start automatically and so you must press the power button to begin charging.

Build

Structure and Material:

The power bank has a solid build quality because it has an Aluminum shell and that makes it wonderful for daily use.

Tech:

On the tech side, the power bank does a good job too because even if it’s being pushed to its limits, the power bank does not heat up and it works even after long-term use.

Reliability

The only unreliable of this Kinps power bank is that it doesn’t feature special charging technology such as Quick Charge and that means those that own compatible devices are not able to charge their smartphones at max charging speeds.

For everything else though, the power bank is very good at what it has.

That’s because it has a good power capacity that’s able to charge smartphones a couple of times and charging speeds that are quite fast. The best part is that the Max Output of the power bank is shared between the two ports.

Summary:

Power:

It has a very average power capacity that’s great for charging smartphones with, but not so much when it comes to charging tablets.

The two USB ports have powerful charging speeds and the Max Output of 3.5A can make both ports useful even if you’re charging two devices at once.

Design:

The power bank has good size for its power capacity and it’s also very lightweight and can be taken anywhere.

Build:

The build quality of the charger is really good with its structure and also with its tech.

Reliability:

It doesn’t use Quick Charge so those that rely on Quick Charge charging for blazing fast speed will have to look else. However, the power bank’s standard charging is still very powerful though.
