You probably use a wall charger to charge most of your USB chargeable devices as it’s quite a convenient charging electronic to use. That said, when it comes to charging certain devices, such as Android devices that are compatible with Quick Charge, then you’re going to want to have a wall charger that features Quick Charge. Newer Android smartphones that are being released are compatible with Quick Charge and you might also want to have a wall charger that features a standard port to also charge your standard devices.

Here at Charger Harbor we’ve covered quite a bit of charging electronics to use with certain devices and we found that not only are smartphones compatible with Quick Charge, but some tablets are too. A Quick Charge port can also be used with just standard devices too, but the main thing is to have the Quick Charge tech to charge compatible devices at their fast charging speeds.

That is why we’re doing a review for this Lumsing 2-Port USB wall charger that features Quick Charge 3.0 with one of its ports and it also has an additional port too. Let’s see if this is a great wall charger to have for your Quick Charge smartphone or tablet.

Power

Output Charging:

There are two USB ports on this wall charger.

There’s the Green Quick Charge 3.0 port that has a charging speed of 5V/2.5A | 9V/2.0A | 12V/1.5A. As a result, you’re able to fast charge your Quick Charge compatible devices. At the same time, this port has a max standard charging rate of 5V/2.4A.

Speaking of its max charging rate, the other USB port which is Blue, has a charging speed of 5V/2.4A, which means that it’s able to charge most Non-Quick Charge compatible devices at their max charging speed. For example, an iPad has a max charging speed of 5V/2.4A and so that is what both of these ports are great for too.

The max output of this portable charger is 24W, as it’s enough to power to basically use each of the ports at their max power. That’s because 24W basically translates over 4.8 Amps. Much like other wall chargers such as Anker’s PowerPort 2, but that one doesn’t use Quick Charge. Overall, this Lumsing 2-Port wall charger with Quick Charge 3.0 does a great job with providing tons of power individually and all together when they’re being used at the same time.

Here’s the Lumsing Wall Charger charging a Galaxy S7 at its Quick Charge speed.

Design

Size and Weight:

One of the other best parts of this wall charger is its size and how it’s almost a perfect cube. That’s because it has a length of 2.8 inches and a width of 2.4 inches. The thickness of the charger is 1.3 inches. And finally, the weight of the charger is 4.5 ounces.

It has retractable AC adapter and when you do retract it back into the wall charger then you basically have a cubed wall charger. This makes portability with this charger a lot easier as you’re able to take it nearly anywhere. Going over to a friend’s house and they don’t have a Quick Charge wall charger? Just unplug this and take it with you as it’s so easy for portability purposes.

Functional Components:

On the functional side of things, this wall charger does a good job with providing an easy user experience. As it has a retractable AC adapter to make portability with it easier. Another great part is the placement of the USB ports. Both of the USB ports are of course on the same side, that said, they’re very far apart and that makes it a lot easier to connect two devices at the same time into the wall charger.

Build

Structure and Material:

The texture of Lumsing wall charger feels quite strange at first but it also has a nice feel to it at the same time as it offers a better grip for when you’re holding it; and overall, the rubber structure of it feels solid. The retractable AC adapter also feels quite sturdy, that said, we should just say that you should only move the AC adapter with purpose. As it’s only meant to come out and go back in and using any other movements with it makes it seem like this AC Adapter wouldn’t do so well.

Tech:

On the tech side, it does a pretty good job, as even when you’re charging two devices at once the charging power doesn’t waver and neither does the charger overheat.

Reliability

This is a great charger to have if you want to have the option to charge your Quick Charge compatible device and another standard device at the same time. With them both charging at their max charging speed as well. Or if you always want to have the options to charge your Quick Charge device at its max charging speed or charge two standard devices at the same time too. As this charger is able to deliver the same amount of power with its Quick Charge port as it does with its standard Blue port.

Summary:

Power:

It does a great job at providing quite a lot of power to both Quick Charge compatible devices, as well as standard chargeable devices too.

Design:

The design of this Lumsing wall charger is its best part as it’s nearly a cube with its short dimension and it also has a retractable AC adapter to make portability easier.

Build:

There are really no problems with the build quality, just one little concern was with the AC adapter as you have to make sure that you only turn it the way it was designed to turn.

Reliability:

It has a great level of reliability by providing lots of power to Quick Charge compatible devices and also to Non-Compatible Quick Charge devices too.
