If you’re looking for a power bank that you can use to charge your phone or tablet, well, there are plenty of options. The most common type of power bank consumers go for are 10,000mAh power banks as they can easily be taken anywhere, are affordable, and have enough capacity to charge most phones to full power at least once.

In this review, I’m looking at this PowerAdd Pro 10,000mAh 3 port 20W Power Delivery power bank that comes with a wall charger. Most power banks don’t come with a wall charger, and it can make more sense to get this one over the competition.

Power Capacity

The 10,000mAh capacity of this PowerAdd Pro power bank isn’t breaking any limits. A 10,000mAh capacity is one of the most common that you can find on the market, and the way you’re able to use it is no different here. A 10,000mAh capacity can charge most phones to full power, at least a single. Depending on what phone you have, you may be able to charge your phone once or two times. I highly doubt you will be able to charge any phone to full power more than two times simply because of the battery size for phones and the conversion of the capacity.

Tablets may be able to get a single full charge from this PowerAdd Pro power bank, or you may at least get close to it.

Overall, the capacity is average, and the low capacity also lends to this power bank’s small and slim form factor.

Output Charging

So there are three output ports on this PowerAdd Pro power bank: the USB-C port and two USB-A ports. The USB-C port has a 20W Power Delivery output, while the two USB-A ports feature a 22.5W output. So fast charging is available with each port on this power bank. However, you can’t fast charge multiple devices simultaneously because the power bank’s max output becomes 20W when charging multiple devices.

For my test, I charged a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from the USB-C port alone, and it could fast charge. Then I plugged in an LG G7 to one of the USB-A ports, and it standard charged, but the Note 9 continued to fast charge; with the LG G7 and the Note 9 still charging, I plugged in Galaxy A51 to the other USB-A port, and each of the three phones was standard charging, so this means that Note 9 went from fast charging to standard charging when charging three devices simultaneously.

So you can fast charge a phone from the USB-C port while also charging one other device from a USB-A port on this PowerAdd Pro power bank. However, when charging three devices, each will be a standard charge.

I did not try to charge my Lenovo Flex 5 laptop because, to be honest, this power bank is not meant for charging laptops, as the Power Delivery output is not enough.

Input Charging

You can either use the USB-C or Micro-USB input port to recharge the power bank, and both of them have the same 18W recharge speed. However, I recommend using the USB-C port because this power bank already comes with a 20W wall charger in the box and a USB-C to USB-C cable. I could recharge the power bank at 18W via the included wall charger.

Size and Weight

This power bank is small, slim, and lightweight, basically, everything you could ask for when it comes to a 10,000mAh power bank. It has a length of 6 inches, a width of 2.6 inches, and a thickness of 0.5 inches. The weight of the power bank is 8 ounces. So you can easily slide the power bank into your pocket and take it with you anywhere. Also, when it comes to charging and using your phone, you can stack it on top of the power bank and hold the two simultaneously.

Functional Components

Charging automatically starts when I plug a device into the power bank, but a power button on the side can be pressed to turn on the screen to check the remaining capacity.

Structure and Material

The build quality of this power bank is good; it’s just your regular plastic power bank. Just don’t drop it or expose it to water.

Tech

I didn’t notice the power bank getting warm, even when three devices were charging simultaneously. Neither did I have any technical issues at all.

Reliability

This PowerAdd Pro portable charger is an excellent choice if you want a daily driver power bank. It has a small, lightweight form factor that can fit into your pocket. On the power side, it has enough capacity to charge most phones to full power either once or twice and charging power is pretty good with its 18W USB-C Power Delivery port and its 22.5W Quick Charge ports.

It’s also very helpful that this power bank comes with a 20W PD wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable included in the box. Most power banks don’t have a wall charger, so a wall charger in the box is a big plus.

You should not get this power bank for charging laptops because the Power Delivery output is insufficient to charge most USB-C chargeable laptops.

Conclusion:

This PowerAdd Pro 10,000mAh 3 port 20W power bank is an excellent choice for charging your phone or tablet throughout the day. Unlike many other power banks, it also comes with a 20W wall charger. It’s not the most powerful power bank you can own, but for daily use, this PowerAdd charger fits most consumer needs.
