USB Wall chargers can have many charging ports, and each of those charging ports should have optimized charging power.

That means each of the charging ports should be able to offer at least a Max Standard charging speed of 5V/2.4A because there are lots of devices that can charge starting at the 2 Amp range and beyond. Gone are the days of USB wall chargers offering 1 Amp charging speeds.

There are still plenty of wall chargers that offer only 5V/1.0A charging speed but those are most likely not optimized for the devices that you own. Also, when it comes to recharging power banks, it’s vital to have a USB wall charger that can recharge your power bank the fastest.

This is the RAVPower 6-Port Wall charger is not only able to boast in quantity but also quality.

Output Charging:

There 6 charging ports on the wall charger and that means you charge 6 devices at once. Sure, it’s nice to be able to charge 6 devices at once, but what’s even better is being able to charge those devices at fast charging speeds.

Each of the charging ports can Output 5V/2.4A and that great because it’s a Max Standard charging speed that’s going to charge nearly all the devices that you connect to this wall charger at their max charging speeds.

However, this RAVPower USB wall charger is not going to be able to charge Quick Charge compatible devices at their max charging speeds simply because this charger does not feature Quick Charge.

What’s Connected: -Galaxy S6 -Three Power Banks -Two Wireless Chargers

With that said, you’ll be able to charge 5 iPads at the same time at their max charging speeds because the Max Output of the USB wall charger is 12 Amps all at once, and charging 5 iPads at the same time will reach that limit of 12 Amps.

If you charge 6 iPads at once, then each of the iPads will charge at 2 Amps because that would make the Max Output still 12 Amps.

No matter what USB charging device you’re charging, it’ll be able to charge quite quickly with this wall charger whether it has Standard charging or Quick Charge charging. Also, it’s a great wall charger to use if you have a power bank to recharge because most power banks have a recharge rate of 5V/2.0A.

Size and Weight:

It’s the size and weight that you’d expect a 6-Port USB wall charger to have. Although that doesn’t mean much because even though it is larger than other wall chargers, it’s still portable.

The charger has a length of 4 inches, a width of 2.7 inches, and a thickness of 1.1 inches. The weight is 6.8 ounces. So it’s quite portable if you wanted to take it with you for traveling purposes, but we recommend to separate the Power Cable from the wall charger to make things more organized for traveling.

Functional Components:

All the charging ports are on a single side, however, they’re close together and that can cause trouble for organizing charging cables for when you’re charging 5-6 devices at once. When you plug the wall charger in, the green light at the top of the charging ports lights up to indicate that it’s ready for charging.

The power cord that the wall charger uses is 1.5 Meters long, which makes it perfect for placing the wall charger onto your desktop table.

Build

Structure and Material:

The wall charger is made of plastic but it still has a solid build with most of the charger using only 3 pieces to become whole.

Tech:

When you have the possibility of charging 6 devices at once, then it’s clear that you’re going to need a lot of safety tech features to back-up the capabilities of such a powerful charging device.

In this case, the RAVPower 6 port wall charger has a Multi-Safe Protection system that can protect itself from Over-Charging, overheating through Temperature Control, Short-Circuit and Surge Protections to ensure that you and your devices are safe during charging.

Reliability

We think that most 6 Port wall chargers including this one are always going to reliable. Not because they have 6 charging ports, but because what they’re able to do with those 6 charging ports.

With this RAVPower USB charger, you’re not only able to charge 6 devices at once, but you’re also able to charge those devices at very fast charging speeds, and most likely at their max charging rates. The max output of the charger is quite high and doesn’t put a heavy limit on charging.
