When we think of a USB wall charger, most of us think about a charging electronic that is on the thick side. The first thing to know is that none of the ports feature Quick Charge, so you won’t be able to charge Quick Charge compatible smartphones at their max charging speed. That said, on the standard charging side, this wall charger is still very powerful.

That’s because each of the ports is able to output a charging speed of 5V/2.4A. A fast standard charging speed that can charge most USB chargeable devices at max speed.

Another great part of the charger is its max output of 30W. So if you’re charging three devices at the same time, with the 30W max output being reached, each of the ports would still be able to output 5V/2.0A. Still a standard charging speed, and when you consider that it can be done for three devices charging at once, it makes the charger even more impressive.

Overall, the lack of Quick Charge is not really a problem, just the lack of a feature. Its use of fast standard charging combined with the very slim form factor is the main reason that you’re going to want to purchase this charger.

Design

Size and Weight:

This is where the VogDuo ChargerPro differentiates itself from most other wall chargers.

So it has a length of 3.5 inches, a width of 2.4 inches, and a thickness of 0.5 inches. The weight of the charger is very lightweight at 3 Ounces. A form factor such as this one is not common at all when it comes to wall chargers, and you can easily just slide this right into a pocket and practically forget about it. You can also place this into a backpack or a purse for easier probability too.

With all that said, one of the most useful ways that you can take advantage of the slim form factor of this charger is when you want to use it in a tight spot. The ChargerPro uses a retractable AC adapter that you can angle around 270°. So with the slim form factor of the charger and the versatile AC adapter, you’re able to easily place the wall charger in between two appliance plugs on a Surge Protector.

When it comes to using this VogDuo wall charger, it’s as simple as using a regular wall charger, and we consider that to be a good thing. As making other complications on how to use it would not have made sense.

As there’s the retractable AC adapter that you can take out, and then plug it into an AC outlet. Once that’s done, there’s a small white light that comes on at the corner of the charger and then you’re ready to use it.

All three of the USB-A charging ports are on a single side and they’re lined up horizontally next to each other.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of the wall charger feels great. The slim form factor doesn’t give way to a weak structure and we found that we could place it into a pocket without having to worry about the wall charger getting damaged.

Also, the AC adapter can be rocked back and forth as many times as you’d like. We turned it quite quickly a few times just to see how well it stays put and it didn’t act up at all. Actually, if you connect the charger into a Surge Protector or an AC outlet, the AC adapter is able to support the weight of the charger when you turn it around.

Tech:

When it comes to charging three devices at once with this ChargerPro, it went exactly how we thought it would. Normally.

Yup, nothing really to report here. Since this charger uses standard charging, it doesn’t heat up at all, even when you’re charging three devices at once.

Reliability

For its form factor combined with its powerful standard charging, we think that this ChargerPro is a very well-defined innovative wall charger. Perfect for charging all USB chargeable devices, whether they’re Quick Charge compatible or not. Perhaps what makes it most reliable is the fact that you can still rely on using it even when you think there’s no space to place the charger into an AC outlet.

One of the most unreliable parts of the charger is the price, though. We think that this charger holds a lot of value, but at the same time, for the price, you might begin to question that value.

VogDuo’s ChargerPro thin travel wall charger has a form factor that some might be in awe of seeing and they would be right to have that reaction. As this charger is actually pretty cool to use in those tight situations.
