For the most part, you’re paying for the brand name, and with wireless Bluetooth earbuds expanding to many smaller brands, going with them may be worth it as you’re getting earbuds at a lower price, practically the identical sound quality.

In this review, we’re taking a look at these Willful Bluetooth wireless earbuds. These earbuds do come from a smaller brand, but they still hold quality with the sound quality they produce and also offer a perfect fit with their design. Let’s take a closer look.

Sound Quality:

The first thing to know about these Willful earbuds is that they do not feature Active Noise Canceling, so they do not actively block out environmental noise coming from the earbuds themselves. However, the earbuds still deliver great sound, and we found that even without ANC, these Willful earbuds have one of the best hearing experiences for budget earbuds on the market.

Phone calls go smoothly, and this is because of the enclosed design of the earbuds and sound being amplified. Seriously these earbuds can get loud, and you may find that keeping the volume at level one or two may be enough for you. We could hear the other person very well during calls, and they could listen to us on the other end, and the earbuds picked up just a little of the background noise when we were outside. So these can be used for phone calls.

Of course, earbuds are mainly for listening to music and watching videos, and these earbuds excel the most in this space. These Willful earbuds don’t have the largest drivers, but they can still deliver bass quality that is noticeable and does hit notes better than you’d expect. Even better than some other earbuds that claim to have large drivers and barely deliver any bass. So we appreciate Willful for not boasting things that these earbuds don’t exactly do their best at but still provide moderately.

For other sounds such as instrumentals and vocals, the earbuds do these sounds the best, and once again, the volume strength with these earbuds is one of the best in the budget range. If you want better sound quality, just turn the sound up. The lack of ANC is not noticeable, and we think that the enclosed design of these earbuds makes up for that very well.

Connectivity Controls:

Using the Willful T7 earbuds is simple. Turns on the earbuds, you have to open the case, and the earbuds automatically turn on. Once the earbuds are on, go to your Bluetooth settings page on your phone, and the earbuds will be labeled “Willful T7,” and then you have to tap to connect. To turn the earbuds off, place them back into the case.

Once you are connected to the earbuds, you have a few touch controls for commands.

Design and Fit

These WillFul earbuds follow the design of AirPods, with the earbuds having a tail that extends down. It’s a good design with the earbuds being lightweight, and the touchpad for commands is flat and easily accessible. However, it’s going to take a few tries to get accustomed to the touch commands.

The fit for these T7 earbuds is perfect with the bud tips that already come on the earbuds. The ones that are already on the earbuds are Medium-sized, but everyone is different, so you might find the Smaller or Larger bud tips to be better than can be found in the packaging.

Build and Accessories

These Willful T7 Bluetooth earbuds come with a charging case, USB-C to USB-A cable, and two sized earbud tips. The charging case closes magnetically, and the case itself is quite large, one of the largest that we’ve seen with Bluetooth earbuds. However, the larger case does use a larger battery, so you don’t have to worry about recharging the case often.

Also, the charging case uses a USB-C port to recharge instead of an old Micro-USB port.

Conclusion:

Going for larger brands may be tempting, but you’re mostly paying for the big brand name. Those higher prices may not hold as much merit as you may think. In comparison, these Willful T7 Bluetooth earbuds come at a lower price and deliver a similar sound quality experience.
