The higher the peak current, the better because the jump starter can supply more power to a weaker battery, and you have a higher chance of starting your car. In this review, I’m looking at this NEXPOW 4000A peak current jump starter; this high current will be reliable for nearly any vehicle, so let’s take a closer look.
Battery Capacity
So this NEXPOW Q11 jump starter has a 24,000mAh battery capacity, and this is a lot of power that can charge phones and tablets to full power multiple times because this jump starter does have charging ports. More importantly, if the unit is at full capacity, you can get a total of 60 jump starts if you’re not using the jump starter for anything else; this is great because even if you jump start your car once, you don’t need to worry about putting the power bank on recharge because it uses so much capacity.
Jump Starting
Regarding jump-starting with this NEXPOW Q11, the 4000A peak current allows it to jump-start all Gas engine types of vehicles and 10L Diesel engine vehicles. So as I mentioned before, even though higher peak current jump starters cost more, it can be worth the price because they have a higher chance of working than lower-powered ones. In this case, the NEXPOW Q11 is compatible with Gas engine vehicles, and as long as you’re using this jump starter with a 12V battery, it will work.
Also, this NEXPOW Q11 does have an override feature that can output as much power as possible to jump-start a depleted battery.
When it comes to jump-starting your car, this Q11 works the same as most others. However, this one is a bit fancier with the jumper cable adapter. The reason it’s fancier is that the adapter has clear labels on when the jump starter is on standby and when it’s ready. If the light on the jump starter is blue, it’s on standby, and when you have the jumper cables connected to the positive and negative on the car battery, the green light should let you know that you can jump-start your car. The jump starter’s override feature is to the side of the jumper cable adapter.

Charging Ports
The charging ports on the Q11 are nothing too exceptional because the only output ports are a USB-A Quick Charge port and a standard 12W USB-A port. I could fast charge my Galaxy Note 9 via the USB-A Quick Charge port.
To recharge the Q11, you must use the USB-C port with an 18W recharge speed. It would have been preferred that the USB-C port have a higher Power Delivery charge rate and could be used as an output port, but that’s not the case here.
Also, the Q11 does have a 120W DC port, and it comes with a DC-to-car socket adapter that you can use to power appliances that can be powered from a car socket. Such devices would be a portable tire pump and a cooler that uses these connections.
Size and Design
The jump starter is definitely on the longer side with a 9-inch length, a width of 3 inches, and a thickness of 1.5 inches. The Q11 weighs about 3 pounds. The charging ports can be found under a covering off to the side, there is an LED flashlight that can be useful if you’re jump-starting your car at night, and the power button can be found at the top.
You get nearly everything you need for this jump starter except the wall charger to recharge the unit. This jump starter has an EVA carrying case that you can use to store everything and keep it safe in your car.
Conclusion
The NEXPOW Q11 4000A peak current jump starter is a powerful and affordable option for jump-starting your car. Considering this much power at this low price, I think it’s worth getting. The only thing I would have improved would be the USB-C port to have a higher charge rate and to be used as an output port.
