          Power

The power of the Two-port Car charger by RAVPower is spectacular.

          Output Charging:

Featuring RAVPower’s smart charging tech called “iSmart”, the two USB ports on the car charger are able to charge at speeds of 2.4A each. This charging is great because it’s the fastest charging that you can get when it comes to not using Qualcomm Quick Charge. Whether it’s two smartphones or two tablets, charging two devices at the same time with both of them charging at 2.4A speed is really good for a car charger.

          Pic 6

For a car charger to give that much power as an output is great because when you’re charging your smartphone or any device for this matter, it’s going to charge it quite quickly. If you’re getting into your car with your phone at a low battery life and need it charged to a considerably good capacity by the time you get to your destination, then it’s going to be charged well enough only if your destination is far away. That’s because in this case, your charging also depends on how long you’re in your car with it on.

If you’re looking for a powerful charger, this is it. You can potentially charge two iPad at their max charging speed at the same time since each of the ports on this charger are able to output 5V/2.4A and the max output of this RAVPower car charge is 4.8A.

          Design

          Size and Weight:

The design of this RAVPower car charger has a very low profile. When you’re driving your car, you don’t want any obstructions. Sure the car charger is obviously down below, away from your eyesight but if you’ve got anything else in the car that you need to reach for or perhaps you just want things to be neat and tidy within your car so it all looks sleek, then this car charger achieves just that. It only has a length of 2.3 inches and a thickness of about 0.9 inches.

          Functional Components:

The shape of the car charger is that of a bullet and for good reason. The car charger is very objective with just the long end going into the car charger outlet and the other end is just for charging. It doesn’t have a long head that changes or an unnecessarily wide base. Everything about the car charger is meant for a purpose and easy to use. Nothing more. It’s great to have this straightforward design because there’s no confusion about how to use the charging device and most importantly there’s less of a chance of it getting damaged.

The small size means that there’s nothing to bend and break. Everything is just one cased body.

A small feature with the car charger is that LED lights light up within the car charger to indicate that your device is indeed charging.

Take a look at Aukey’s Flush Fit Car Charger on Amazon to see just how small and powerful it is.

          Is it charging

Sure you can always check if your device is charging by the charging indicator light on the device that is charging, but the light from the car means that you don’t have to! It’s a small feature that provides assurance and ease for the user.

          Build

          Structure and Material:

The charger is completely encased in Aluminum Alloy, which means that you won’t find any brittle plastic that breaks if it rolls and drops in your car.

          Pic 3

As we mentioned before, the build quality excels so much because of the small design of the car charger. A big charger that has a long charging head will most likely get damaged because the material is more spread out and as a result making the casing of the car charger weaker.

In this case, though, everything is compact and holds strong to take falls and rolls.

          Tech:

On the build side of things, this RAVPower car charger does a good job at not generating heat. Even when you’re charging two devices, there’s no major overheating as the charger automatically adjusts its charging speed so the Amperage speed doesn’t increase too much on hot days.

          Reliability

The reliability of the car charger and any car charger for this matter highly depends on the way you use it. Chargers do what they do, which is to charge your device.

In this case, car chargers do that but how long they charge your device for is entirely up to you.

          Scenario 1:

If you’re charging your smartphone and the destination you’re going to is only 5 minutes away, then be prepared for disappointment; Because since the ride is only 5 minutes, then the charging time is 5 minutes. You could wait in your car and let your phone charge but that’s going to waste gas and time because you’re already at your destination so you should get going. A power bank would be the better charging option in this case.

          Scenario 2:

However, if you’re going to drive for a moderately long time and maybe a very long time, like a road trip, then this car charger is going to do wonders. That’s where this car charger excels at the most. It has the time to constantly charge your devices because the car is still running and as long as that’s happening your devices will keep being charged. By the time you reach your destination in this scenario, your device will be charged well enough or maybe even full if the ride was that long.

Car chargers can differentiate on how reliable they are because it also depends on how long you’re going to be driving.

Okay, so if we’re talking about the technical aspects of the car charger, it’s designed beautifully.

The RAVPower charger has many internal protection and charging systems that make everything run securely.

Couple all of the safety tech, charging speed and the amazingly small size of the car charger, then you’ve got yourself a car charger that will take you far.

          Summary:

          Power:

The power is on par with the best of charging speed. Providing speeds of 2.4A out of both of the USB charging ports, this car charger is able to charge any device quickly.

          Design:

It’s the spectacular design and shape of the car charger that makes it another reason to own the RAVPower car charger. Its objective design won’t get in your way, it’s very easy to use and even tells you when it’s charging!

          Build:
