If you have an iPhone 12 or newer, you may or may not know that your iPhone features MagSafe; this is a magnetic wireless charging feature where you can magnetically attach a charger to the back of your phone. Of course, the charger you use must also feature MagSafe for the magnetic feature to work. That said, MagSafe is awesome because you don’t need to worry about using a cable to plug into your phone, and it’s still easy to charge and use your phone as the charger stays in place thanks to magnets.

In this review, I’m looking at this INIU Magnetic wireless charging power bank that also features Power Delivery. A MagSafe power bank is one of the best types to own because the charger will stick to the back of your phone, and you can take it anywhere.

What’s in the Box?

What you get in the box with this INIU Magnetic power bank is a USB-C to USB-C cable, a carrying pouch, and the manual. You do not get a wall charger in the box to recharge the power bank; you must provide that on your side.

Size and Design

This INIU Magnetic power bank has a length of 3.8 inches, a width of 2.7 inches, and a thickness of 0.8 inches. The weight of the charger is 9.6 ounces. So it is a tiny power bank that can easily fit into your pocket alone, or if you have it magnetically attached to your phone, then you can slide it into the pocket along with your phone, but that would be a pretty tight fit.

What matters most is that when you have it magnetically attached to the back of your phone, it’s possible to use your phone still and charge it simultaneously, as the power bank does not move around.

The paw battery capacity indicator can be found at the top of the power bank. To the side is where you’ll find the USB-A and USB-C charging ports and the power button, and at the back is where you’ll find the magnetic wireless charging pad. You can press the power button to turn on wireless charging.

Charging Power

The main reason you’re getting this power bank is if you have a MagSafe-compatible iPhone, which would be an iPhone 12 to any of the newer models. That said, if you have an Android phone, you get a magnetic attachment to place at the back of your phone and make it MagSafe compatible.

The max wireless charging speed is 10W from this INIU power bank, which is good, but I was expecting it to max out at 15W, considering that iPhones that use MagSafe can charge at 15W. So the best you’ll get is 10W for your iPhone, and in my case, I could magnetically attach my Galaxy Note 9 to this power bank because I have a magnet on it. My Note 9 was able to fast charge wirelessly from the charging pad. I could also fast charge my Note 9 from the 20W Power Delivery USB-C port on this power bank.

You can charge three devices simultaneously with this INIU power bank; however, remember that each device you charge will only be a standard charge, not a fast charge. In my testing, I could wirelessly charge my Note 9, an LG G7 from the USB-C port, and a Galaxy A51 from the USB-A port.

Recharging

Recharging this INIU power bank is done via the USB-C port, and it has an 18W PD input speed, so I recommend using an 18W PD charger or higher to recharge the power bank.

Battery Capacity

Surprisingly, this INIU power bank has a 10,000mAh battery capacity, which is surprising because this charger is so small. Most phones can charge to their full power about one or two times with this power bank, as they now have larger batteries.

Conclusion

This INIU Magnetic wireless charging power bank is very reliable if you own an iPhone 12 or newer model, as you can use the MagSafe wireless charging feature that way. Additionally, fast charging is available from the port, and this can be a useful power bank for charging Android phones, but you will need a magnetic attachment at the back of your Android phone.
