Portable chargers are likely the most reliable type of charging product that you can use. They have enough power capacity that can last for days before needing a recharge, most of them use some sort of fast charging techs such as Power Delivery or Quick Charge, and no matter the power capacity they are all easily portable.
One thing that is missing is cables that are built-into the power bank itself, and it’s easy to grab a power bank and forget a cable. In this review, we’re taking a look at this CHOETECH 10,000mAh Power Delivery and Quick Charge power bank with built-in USB-C and Lightning cables. This CHOETECH portable charger already has cables and fast charging to go with them.
This CHOETECH portable charger is mainly meant for charging smartphones, and possibly tablets. The charger has a 10,000mAh power capacity, and if we’re considering how most modern smartphones now have 3,000mAh batteries, 4,000mAh batteries, or even larger, then you’re going to be able to charge your phone about two times before having to recharge this power bank.
Charging tablets to full power with this power bank is possible, but it will take the entirety of the power capacity. Most tablets have very large batteries that range from about 5,000mAh to 10,000mAh.
This CHOETECH power bank has two outputs that you’re able to charge from and that would be the built-in USB-C cable and the built-in Lightning cable. This charger does have a USB-C port, but the port is only usable as an input port to recharge the power bank, and cannot be used to charge any devices.
The built-in USB-C cable features Quick Charge 3.0, so it’s able to fast charge most Android smartphones as most Android smartphones are Quick Charge compatible. The Lightning cable features Power Delivery, and so you’re able to fast charge iPhones with it. Just something to know is that the iPhone has been Power Delivery compatible ever since the release of the iPhone X and the iPhone 8, all the way to the current iPhone 12.
To recharge this power bank, you have to use the USB-C input port that is Power Delivery and Quick Charge compatible. So you can either use a Quick Charge or Power Delivery wall charger to recharge this power bank at a faster speed.
The charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable that you can use to recharge the power bank with if you’re using a USB-C wall charger.
Size and Weight:
The charger itself can easily be taken anywhere, and this can be said about 10,000mAh power banks in general. This charger has a length of 5.7 inches, a width of 2.7 inches, and a thickness of 0.6 inches. The weight of the power bank is 8 ounces.
It’s not only the size of the charger that makes it easily portable, but it’s also the lack of cables that stick out. As the built-in cables go directly into the power bank and don’t protrude out until you take them out.
The charger itself is easy to use, with the USB-C and Lightning built-in cables placed at the side of the power bank and you simply have to pull them out. You do have to press the power button to begin charging and the power button can be found to the side of the power bank along with four white LED power indicators and a USB-C input port.
Structure and Material:
The built quality of this power bank is good, as the cables are hidden and safe from bending when they’re not in use. The body of the power bank is made of plastic, so it’s not exactly shockproof, so you should be cautious of dropping the charger onto hard flooring.
You don’t have to worry about this power bank heating up because the max output of this charger is 18W.
This is a very reliable portable charger for modern smartphones, and we say that for the lack of a Micro-USB cable, and the use of a built-in USB-C and Lightning cable. USB-C is the standard for Android devices, not Micro-USB, so we appreciate the use of USB-C as it’s the more common port now.
This charger is going to be very reliable for iPhone users and Android smartphone users, and more than that, it’s reliable for fast charging and getting your phone back to full power faster as it features Quick Charge and Power Delivery.
The power bank features Quick Charge with its built-in USB-C cable and Power Delivery with its built-in Lightning cable. You can also recharge the power bank at Quick Charge or Power Delivery speeds via the USB-C input port.
The charger has a slim form factor and without having any cables sticking out, the charger will always be easy to place in your pocket.
The power bank has a good build, and the only parts that you have to worry about breaking are the built-in cables, but even those are built very well and they have a lot of flex to them.
The charger features two of the most used cables on the market for smartphones, as well as the two most common fast charging technologies, Power Delivery and Quick Charge, which makes this CHOETECH power bank highly reliable for most modern smartphones.
