Power Delivery wall chargers are pretty common on the market now since most of the portable devices we use each day can use the charging tech. Some of the most common types of Power Delivery chargers use high wattages, and if you’re someone who doesn’t need those higher charging speeds and wants a charger that can fast charge tablets and smartphones, then this CHOETECH wall charger is more for you.

This CHOETECH PD6009 dual USB-C Power Delivery wall charger because of its two USB-C ports that output 20W, comes at a lower price as you’re not paying for charging power that you won’t even use. Let’s see just what you can charge and what it’s like using this wall charger.

Power

Output Charging:

This CHOETECH wall charger has two ports that each have a 20W charging speed, and this is the best charge rate that you could ask for when it comes to fast charging smartphones and tablets. A higher charge rate would mostly be useless when it comes to charging these types of less powerful devices, and the better part is that the wall charger has a max output of 40W, so you can use both ports at max power simultaneously.

In our test with charging this from CHOETECH wall charger, we charged a Microsoft Surface Go tablet and a Google Pixel at the same time; The Google Pixel was able to fast charge, and the Surface Go was able to charge around 15W to 18W, which is fast for the tablet.

We did try charging a Lenovo Flex 5 laptop with this wall charger. Still, unfortunately, the laptop was not able to charge, and what happened was charging would start and stop constantly, likely because there was not enough charging power delivered to the laptop. As a result, we don’t recommend using this charger to charge laptops as 20W is not enough charging power. When it comes to charging smaller devices such as smartphones and tablets, this CHOETECH wall charger does a great job.

Size and Weight:

This wall charger is tiny with a length/width of only 2 inches, and it has a thickness of 1 inch. So you won’t have any problems being portable with the wall charger.

Functional Components:

The charger only needs to be plugged into an outlet, and it’s ready to start charging your devices. There is a blue LED power light at the front of the charger that shows it’s powered and ready to charge your devices. The charger also has a foldable AC plug that ensures that nothing is in the way when you want to take it places.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of this wall charger is great, and you won’t have any problems from the daily use of the wall charger.

Tech:

When we were charging the Surface Go tablet and the Google Pixel smartphone simultaneously, the charger did not warm up.

Reliability

The reliability of this CHOETECH wall charger does fall short when it comes to charging USB-C laptops as 20W is not enough for charging laptops in general. However, for any other USB-C chargeable device, this wall charger can fast charge tablets and smartphones. You can fast charge two devices simultaneously, thanks to the 40W max output of the wall charger.

Summary:

Power:

Charging power is mostly meant for fast charging tablets and laptops, and two devices can be fast charged at the same time thanks to the max output of 40W.

Design:

The wall charger is tiny and can be taken anywhere with you.

Build:

CHOETECH is known to us to build great products, and this one is no different as the wall charger has a solid build and doesn’t warm up even if you’re charging two devices at the same time.

Reliability:

This wall charger is mostly meant for charging tablets and smartphones, as a 20W power output is not enough for charging USB-C laptops. We tried charging a USB-C Lenovo laptop with this CHOETECH wall charger, and it was not able to charge. You cannot use the full 40W from a single port either, as the wall charger does not feature dynamic charging.
