Portable jump starters have seen some pretty drastic innovations in recent years, as they are now pretty powerful for having such a small size. Some jump starters have started to double as tire air pumps; some are power banks that you can realistically use as a daily driver power bank because they have very powerful charging ports, and some can be used as a power washer.
In this review, I’m looking at this VTOMAN V12 3500A jump starter, and other than being a solid jump starter, this one has an AC outlet. An AC outlet on a jump starter is uncommon, but it’s fantastic to see, so let’s take a closer look.

You get the jumper clamps in the box with this VTOMAN V12 jump starter, a USB-A Quick Charge wall charger, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable and the manual.
Jump Starting Power
So this VTOMAN V12 jump starter has a 3500A peak current, and you can jump-start 10L gas and 8L Diesel engines. A 3500A peak current is a great amount of power that can jump-start most vehicles; however, remember it can only do so if the vehicle you are starting uses a 12V battery. A handy feature that more jump staters are starting to use is a boost function, and it’s easy to use when you jump-start a very weak or dead battery because the jump starter outputs as much power as possible to the battery to start your car.

How to Jump Start with the VTOMAN V12
Jump starting works the same as any other one; you must plug the cables into the jump startter and place the clamps on your car battery and negative terminals. Once the light on the adapter turns green, you can start your car. Also, to activate the boost feature, you have to hold down the boost button on the adapter, and the green light will turn on with the adapter.
Charging Ports and AC outlet
The charging ports on this VTOMAN V12 are okay because it has two USB-A ports, one featuring Quick Charge and the other having a 10W charge rate. The USB-C port on the V12 can only be used as an input port to recharge the unit, and it has an 18W recharge rate; thankfully, this jump starter comes with a USB-A Quick Charge wall charger so you can recharge it right out of the box.
The most notable part of the VTOMAN V12 is that it has an AC outlet that can output 100W. Of course, this is not a lot of power, but using an AC outlet on a jump starter is incredible, and you can power lower-wattage devices with it. In my case, I could power a wall charger and test out charging my Excitrus power bank, which could charge at nearly 100W. I could also easily charge my Lenovo laptop from the jump starter.
Regarding charging port testing, I could fast charge my Note 9 via the USB-A Quick Charge port.
Size and Capacity
The 66Wh battery capacity, as long as it’s fully charged, can deliver up to 50 jump starts. The size of this V12 is pretty small, with an 8-inch length, a width of 4 inches, and a thickness of 1.5 inches. The weight of the jump starter is 1.7 pounds.

Conclusion
Overall, the VTOMAN V12 3500A jump starter is a very reliable one. It has a pretty high peak current to jump-start most vehicles that use a 12V battery, and if you’re dealing with a very weak or dead battery, you can use its boost feature. Including an AC outlet directly on the jump starter is fantastic to see and can be helpful for specific devices.
