Portable jump starters are standard; if you own a car, you should own one and store it in your vehicle. You never know when your battery becomes too weak to start, and it can be a bad situation to be stranded and have to call a tow service. A jump starter eases the anxiety of a dead or weak battery.
This review looks at this AUTOGO 2000A peak current jump starter. This is simple, but it gets the job done in my testing. If the power specs fit your needs, I’d say that this is a solid jump starter to use if you need it in an emergency.
Battery Capacity
The battery capacity for this AUTOGO jump starter is 21,000mAh, and that can provide about 25 jump starts to a battery. This is a good amount of jump starts considering that you rarely use it, as jumps starting your car doesn’t need to happen too often. So even if you jump-start your car, you don’t have to recharge the power bank.
Regarding charging devices such as phones, you can get about two total charges for most phones, while most tablets will get a single charge. Overall, the capacity fits into what most other 2000A jump starters have.

Jump Starting
The AUTOGO jump starter can jump start 8.0-liter gas engines or 6.5 Liter diesel engines that use a 12V battery to start. So you do have a rather wide range of vehicles that you can use with this jump starter.
For my testing, I used a 2015 RAV4 with a completely dead battery, and thankfully I could jump-start the car. However, it did take about two attempts. When it comes to setting up the jump starter, it works the same as others. You must plug the jumper cables into the jump starter and connect the clamps to the battery.
You can start your car once the light on the jump clamps is solid green. The setup process was easy for my testing, and as I mentioned, I was dealing with a very weak battery, so I had two attempts for jump-starting.
Charging Ports
The charging ports are nothing too special. There are two USB-A ports: one 12W port and an 18W Quick Charge port. So you can fast charge an Android phone with the Quick Charge port if you have one. I could fast charge my Galaxy Note 9 from the USB-A Quick Charge port.
The jump starter is recharged through the USB-C port with a 15W recharging speed. The USB-C port cannot be an output port to charge your devices.
The jumps starter does have a DC port, and it comes with a car socket adapter that lets you use some appliances that work with a cigarette lighter port.
Design
The AUTOGO jump starter has a 7-inch length, and it weighs about 2 pounds. One of the best parts of this jump starter is the carrying case that lets you store it and all the accessories to have everything in your car together. Also included in the box is a USB-C to USB-A cable, the jumper cables, the manual, and a car socket adapter. It would have been nice to have a wall charger, too.

Conclusion
The AUTOGO 2000A peak current jump starter is a capable unit that I could use with a completely dead battery. It took two tries with the jump starter, but my car was able to start. Compared to leading brands on the market, this one has a good amount of power and an excellent price to match. It’s not the strongest, but it gets the job done. More powerful charging ports would have made it a better product.
