Best Chargers for Ayaneo 2, GEEK, AIR, NEXT Pro in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 3, 2023)

The Ayaneo 2 is a welcome addition to the portable gaming console market; this product space is still starting, and with the release of the Steam Deck, the competition has been getting more heated. Yes, the price for the Ayaneo 2 is higher than the Steam Deck, but at the same time, it has better specs with it using an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U CPU, and it uses an integrated AMD Radeon RDNA 2 GPU. The Ayaneo 2 also comes equipped with a 1TB NVMe SSD.

In the box with the Ayaneo 2, you do get a charger. Still, in case you want an extra charger, a replacement, or just a different charger for charging your Ayaneo, then I’ve chosen a couple of chargers that would work great for not only charging your Ayaneo 2 but the chargers in this guide will work great for also the Ayaneo Geek, Ayaneo Air, Next Pro or Air Plus.

VOLTME 100W 3 Port Charger

The first charger I want to recommend is this VOLTME 100W charger. The charger has a 100W max output and features two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. You can use the full 100W of Power Delivery when charging a single device from USB-C 1 or USB-C 2. What matters most when charging your Ayaneo gaming console is using a 65W to 100W Power Delivery USB-C port.

In this case, you can fast charge your Ayaneo from the USB-C ports when charging a single device. For dual charging, the USB-C 1 outputs 65W, while the USB-C 2 port outputs 30W; this makes it possible to fast charge your Ayaneo while also fast charging a phone or tablet from C-2. The power allocation when charging three devices is also great because the USB-C 1 port continues to output 65W, while the USB-C 2 and the USB-A ports output 12W. So you can still charge your Ayaneo from USB-C 1 but only standard charge devices from the other ports when charging three devices.

UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger

I’ve reviewed several 140W chargers, such as this UGREEN Nexode 140W charger and the VOLTME 140W and Unitek 140W chargers. They all work the same, but I recommend this UGREEN charger first because it comes from a more well-known brand.

You can use the full 140W of Power Delivery when charging from the USB-C 1 port, and that is more than enough to charge your Ayaneo, while the USB-C 2 outputs 100W when charging a single device. When charging two devices from the USB-C ports, each USB-C port can output 65W of Power Delivery; this makes it possible to fast charge your Ayaneo while also charging a laptop or possibly another Ayaneo simultaneously.

If you’re charging three devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port continues to output 65W, the USB-C 2 port outputs 45W, and the USB-A port outputs 22.5W. This still makes it possible to fast charge your Ayaneo 2 or any other Ayaneo gaming console while fast charging another two devices. This UGREEN charger is worth choosing over some competition because it comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. For comprehensive information, read my review article or watch my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger.

Unitek 140W 3 Port Charger

This Unitek charger works the same way as the UGREEN 140W charger I mentioned, with this one having a 140W max output. However, for this charger, you can use the full 140W of Power Delivery from either of the USB-C ports, and the USB-A port has an 18W output at all times.

Everything else about this charger is the same, with dual USB-C charging yielding 65W PD output, but when charging three devices, the USB-C 2 port drops down to a 45W output, and the USB-C 1 port outputs 65W and is the port that you want to use to charge your Ayaneo for optimal charging speed. This Unitek charger also has a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, which works fine. However, I found that in my review, the charging cable didn’t perform the best with transferring all the power from the USB-C ports, but it’s built well.

VOLTME 140W 3 Port Charger

One other 140W charger I wanted to recommend is the VOLTME 140W charger. Yes, the same charger as the other two that I mentioned before. This VOLTME one also has a 140W max output that can be fully used when charging a single device from USB-C 1, and a single device charging for USB-C 2 is also 100W of Power Delivery. The USB-A port will output 22.5W, no matter how many devices you charge simultaneously.

Dual USB-C charging gets you 65W of Power Delivery from each USB-C port, and for three-port charging, the USB-C 1 port outputs 65W, while the USB-C 2 port outputs 45W. The only downside of this VOLTME 140W charger is that it does not come with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and that’s a pretty big letdown considering the charger’s price.

I invite you to read my review article or watch my video review of the VOLTME 140W 3 Port Charger for detailed analysis.

MOMAX 100W 4 Port Desktop Charger

If you’re searching for a four-port desktop charger that can charge your Ayaneo, consider this MOMAX 100W 4-port charger. A desktop charger can be more useful if you want it to be in a specific spot because it uses a power cord. This MOMAX charger has a 100W max output, and you can use the full 100W Power Delivery output when charging a single device from the two USB-C ports.

Regarding two-port charging, the USB-C 1 port outputs 65W, which is perfect for charging the Ayaneo, and if you still want to charge your Ayaneo when charging three devices, you can continue charging from USB-C 1 at 65W. Still, you must charge devices from the two USB-A ports, not the USB-C 2 port.

When charging four devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port outputs 45W, so charging is slowed down for your Ayaneo in that case. Learn more about this charger in my review article or check out my video review of the MOMAX 100W 4 Port Desktop Charger.

Baseus 65W 20,000mAh Power Bank

Using a power bank to charge your Ayaneo 2 or any other Ayaneo console you may have, makes even more sense than using a wall charger, considering it’s a portable gaming console. You must ensure your power bank has a 65W Power Delivery USB-C port or higher.

This Baseus power bank has a 65W Power Delivery USB-C port to charge your Ayaneo 2. That said, charging power does go down when charging two devices with the USB-C port and then outputting 45W, and when charging three devices, the USB-C port has a 20W PD output, so just something to look out for.

This Basues power bank should be recharged through the USB-C port because it has a 60W PD recharging speed; I recommend not using the Micro-USB input to recharge because it only has an 18W recharge rate. The 20,000mAh capacity of the Baseus power bank is high enough to provide many hours of gaming and about a single full charge for your Ayaneo 2. For an in-depth look at this power bank, read my review article.

INIU B63 65W 25,000mAh Power Bank

Another power bank I wanted to recommend for charging your Ayaneo 2 is the INIU B63 power bank. The power bank has a 65W Power Delivery USB-C port, a 30W USB-C port, and a 22.5W USB-A Quick Charge port. That said, just like the Baseues power bank, charging power is split when charging multiple devices simultaneously, so I recommend charging your Ayaneo alone from the 65W USB-C port.

This INIU power bank has a 25,000mAh battery capacity that can provide even more hours of gaming time when playing with your Ayaneo. This power bank has a USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Explore the features of this power bank in my review article or my video review of the INIU B63 65W 25,000mAh Power Bank.

Baseus 65W USB-C Car Charger

If you want to charge your Baseus car charger while driving, this Baseus 65W car charger can work well. The car charger has a USB-C PD port, and you can fully use the 65W of Power Delivery when charging a single device at a time. The other port is a USB-A port on this Bauses car charger, and when charging two devices simultaneously, the USB-C port drops down to a 45W output, which is slower charging for your Ayaneo gaming console.

This car charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. Check out my review article.
