Best Chargers for GPD Win 4 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 6, 2023)

The portable gaming console space is expanding, with Steam Deck being the heavy hitter and shifting other brands into gear. Now, with brands releasing their own new and improved portable consoles, competition is increasing, and this has caused improvements in these consoles. The GPD Win 4 is a pretty new console in this space that has top-of-the-line specs for potable gaming, with it featuring a Ryzen 7 6800U processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB NVMe storage, and a host of other features.

The one thing to remember with these gaming consoles is that even though playing triple-A videogames wherever you are excellent, the battery will drain quickly. So having a charger handy that can charge our GPD Win 4 is necessary, so I’ve chosen a few chargers that you can use to charge your console that are great alternatives from the original charger you get in the box.

KOVOL 140W 2 Port USB-C Wall Charger

One of the most simple and powerful chargers I’ve reviewed is this KOVOL 140W two-port charger. The maximum output of this KOVOL charger is 140W, and you can use the full Power Delivery 3.1 output if you’re charging a single device from the USB-C port. The other port on this charger is a USB-A port.

When charging two devices simultaneously, the USB-C port can output 120W, and the USB-A port will output 18W. In this case, you charge your GPD Win 4 at max speed, whether charging it alone from the USB-C port or having another device charge from the USB-A port. The charger is minimal with its port selection, but it gets the job done, and it’s an affordable 140W charger over the other ones I’ve reviewed. To delve deeper into the capabilities of this charger, feel free to read my detailed review article.

UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger

I’ve also reviewed a few other 140W chargers from other brands; the one above is a UGREEN 140W charger that I’m recommending, and the next two are from VOLTME and Unitek. All these 140W chargers are very similar, and in this case, I’m recommending them to give you options, as they can all work perfectly for charging your GPD Win 4.

This UGREEN charger has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. Regarding single-port charging, the USB-C 1 port can output 140W, the USB-C 2 port can output 100W, and the USB-A port will output 22.5W at all times.

So you can easily fast charge your GPD Win 4 when charging it alone via C-1 or C-2. Even when it comes to dual charging from the two USB-C ports, C-1  and C-2 will output 65W simultaneously, still letting you charge your GPD Win 4. However, when charging three devices simultaneously, you should charge the GPD Win 4 from USB-C 1 as it will output 65W, while USB-C 2 outputs 45W.

A pretty big plus for this UGREEN charger is that it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Interested in more about this charger? Check out my comprehensive review article or my video review for a full rundown.

VOLTME 140W 3 Port Charger

This VOLTME 140W charger works the same way as the UGREEN charger I mentioned previously, with this one having a 140W max output that you can fully use if you’re charging from USB-C 1. You could charge two GPD Win 4 consoles simultaneously from the two USB-C ports because they both output 65W of Power Delivery when dual charging.

The USB-A port on this VOLTME charger will always output 22.5W, and when charging three devices, I recommend that you charge your GPD Win 4 from the USB-C 1 port. This VOLTME charger is on the lower price side than larger brands, but it does not come with a cable, at least when I reviewed it. Unitek 140W 4 Port Wall Charger

One other 140W charger that I wanted to recommend is the Unitek 140W charger. Once again, this is very similar to the VOLTME and UGREEN charger that I mentioned, but in this case, you can use a total of 140W of Power Delivery when charging a single device from either USB-C 1 or 2 with the other chargers; it would only be USB-C 1.

Dual USB-C charging works the same, with each USB-C port able to output 65W of Power Delivery, while triple charging has the C-1 port output 65W. So, it’s best to stick to USB-C 1 when charging three devices. The USB-A port on this Unitek charger is a little weaker, with an 18W output. This Unitek charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. For an in-depth analysis of this charger’s features, read my review article or watch my video review.

Oraimo 120W 4 Port Charger

This Oraimo charger has a lower max output of 120W, but it does have three USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. The USB-C 1 and 2 ports can output 100W of Power Delivery when charging a single device, which works great for the GPD Win 4. Dual USB-C charging from C-1 and two results in a 60W PD output, which still lets you charge your GPD Win 4 console.

When it comes to charging three or four devices simultaneously, power allocation for this charger becomes a bit more complicated as it has an adaptive power allocation design that selects certain devices to charge faster. I recommend always charging your GPD Win 4 from USB-C 1, and if you have three or four devices charging simultaneously, the other device you have charging from C-2 should be a lower-powered one. This way, your GPD Win 4 always gets priority charging. I have explored this charger’s performance in my review article, and you can also watch my video review for a detailed understanding.

VOLTME 100W 3 Port Charger

This VOLTME 100W charger is a lower-powered charger with two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. 100W of Power Delivery is available when charging a single device from the USB-C ports on the charger. When charging from the two USB-C ports simultaneously, the C-1 can output 65W, and the C-2 port can output 30W; this lets you fast charge your GPD Win 4 from the USB-C 2 port.

The power allocation design is excellent when charging three devices because the USB-C 1 port can output 65W, while the USB-C 2 and the USB-A port can output 12W. This still gives a rather fast charging speed for the GPD Win 4. Gain more insights into this charger by reading my review article or watching my video review, where I discuss its various aspects.

Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank

Portable charging for the GPD Win 4 is almost necessary because the console is an absolute powerhouse like any other portable gaming console. Any time the brands mention hours of gaming time with a console like this, it’s mostly just marketing; you will lose your battery power after just a few hours.

This Baseus Blade power bank has a 100W Power Delivery output from either of its two USB-C ports so that you can charge your GPD Win 4 with the power bank. There are two also two USB-A Quick Charge ports on the power bank. You can recharge the Baseus Blade at 65W via a 65W or higher PD charger. To learn about how this power bank stands out, you can read my review article or view my video review for a comprehensive perspective.

Baseus 65W Car Charger

You may also want to charge your GPD Win 4 while driving to use it when you reach your destination. This Baseus car charger has a 65W max output and has a USB-C and USB-A port. You can use 65W of Power Delivery when charging from the USB-C port alone. The USB-C port drops to 45W for dual charging, while the USB-A port outputs 18W. This Baseus car charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. For a closer look at how this car charger performs, you can read my review article.
