Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 brings the best of what an Android tablet can feature, and if you’re looking for something that’s not an iPad, then the Tab S8 is one of the best choices to go with. This year, the new Tab S8 has three new models: the base Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus, and the highest tier Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
No matter what model of the Galaxy Tab S8 you go with, you will get a great experience because each model has the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. Also, each of them has large batteries, with the Tab S8 having an 8,000mAh battery, the Tab S8 Plus having a 10,090mAh battery, and the Tab S8 Ultra having an 11,200mAh battery.
Of course, the reason for these larger batteries on higher tiers models is because they’re larger and use more power to run, so you may find that the Tab S8 can burn through its battery quite similarly to any smartphone. That’s why we recommend owning a power bank to charge your Galaxy Tab S8 with. In this guide, we’re covering power banks that you should consider using for charing your Tab S8 that have enough power capacity and charging power to get the Samsung tablet back to full power.
Excitrus NitroCharge Pro 25,600mAh 100W Power Delivery Power Bank
We’re starting this guide with an all-around type of power bank because this Excitrus NitroCharge Pro has a high power capacity and tons of charging power with plenty of options. The is Excitrus power bank has a 25,600mAh power capacity, so when it comes to even charging the Tab S8 Ultra with its 11,200mAh battery, you will get at least one full charge for it and the other two Tab S8 models. You may also have spare capacity left over to use later for charging the tablet or other devices.
The charging from this Excitrus NitroCharge power bank is even more impressive because it has two USB-C Power Delivery ports, one USB-A Quick Charge port, and wireless charging at the top. One of the USB-C PD ports has a 100W output, and the other USB-C port has a 45W output. We recommend charging your Tab S8 via the 45W USB-C port as that’s the max charging speed for the tablet, and you can save the 100W USB-C port for charging another, more powerful device like a laptop.
Also, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S20, S21, or S22, you wirelessly fast charge your phone at 15W via the charging pad at the top of the power bank. You can recharge this power bank at 100W with a 100W power delivery wall charger, but a wall charger is not included in the box.

Baseus 20,000mAh 65W Power Delivery Power Bank
Moving onto a lower-capacity power bank, this Baseus portable charger has a 20,000mAh power capacity that can get all Tab S8 models to their full power at least one time. Having leftover capacity might be possible if you’re not using the tablet while it’s charging. Charging power is lacking as this power bank has a 65W USB-C Power Delivery port and two USB-A Quick Charge ports. If you’re charging two or more devices simultaneously, then the USB-C PD port drops down to a 45W charging speed, but a 45W charge rate can still charge the Tab S8 at its max charging speed while you charge a phone via one of the USB-A Quick Charge ports.
You can recharge the power bank at 60W with a 60W or higher Power Delivery wall charger, but this power bank does not come with one. Included in the box is USB-C to USB-C cable, though. You may also use the Micro-USB input port for recharging, but the Micro-USB input port has a considerably slower recharging rate than the USB-C PD port.
At the top of the power bank is an LCD that shows the power bank’s remaining power capacity and charging status.

UGREEN 10,000mAh Power Bank with Built-in USB-C Cable
Going much lower on the power capacity, this UGREEN power bank has a 10,000mAh power capacity, so definitely not enough to charge any of the Tab S8 models to full power. The best this power bank can do is likely to get you about 70% for Galaxy Tab S8. However, we’re mainly recommending this power bank because of its small size, which means easier portability, and also because it has a built-in USB-C cable.
The built-in USB-C cable has an 18W Power Delivery charging speed, and as long as you have the power bank charged up, you can charge your Tab S8 and you don’t have to use any of the ports. However, if you want a slightly faster charging speed for your Galaxy tablet, then you can opt to use the 20W USB-C Power Delivery port. There is also a USB-A Quick Charge port.
The power bank comes with a USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A charging cable.

TEGIC 10,000mAh 30W USB-C Power Delivery Power Bank
This TEGIC power bank has the same 10,000mAh power capacity as the previous UGREEN power bank we mentioned. So you won’t be getting any full charges here. This TEGIC power bank does offer faster charging and a much cooler-looking design, though.
On the charging side, there is a 30W USB-C Power Delivery port with 25W PPS available; there is also a USB-A Quick Charge port. On the design side, which is mainly what’s unique about this power bank is that it has a transparent glass window that lets you see the inner circuitry of the power bank. No other power bank on the market features such an excellent design.

JIGA 30,000mAh 3 Output and 3 Input Power Bank
If you’re searching for a high-capacity power bank and not worried about charging speed, then this JIGA power bank might be what you’re looking for. The power bank has a 30,000mAh power capacity, so you’re likely going to get about two full charges for any of the Tab S8 models. The major downside of this power bank is the slower charging because this JIGA power bank does not feature Power Delivery.
The charger has three input ports and three output ports. The input ports include a Micro-USB, USB-C, and a Lightning input port; all of the input ports recharge the power bank at 10W, and you can only use one at a time. Three USB-A output ports only have a 10W output; none of the USB-A ports feature Quick Charge.
So if you don’t mind charging your Tab S8 for a considerably longer duration, but at least have a long-lasting power bank, this JIGA power bank is an alright option.

Crave PowerPack 50,000mAh Power Bank with 60W Power Delivery
Then going on the massive high capacity scale, this Crave PowerPack portable charger has a 50,000mAh power capacity. Yes, 50,000mAh, and that’s enough to charge up the Galaxy Tab S8 to full power about three to four times; this is teh case for all the models.
Charging from the Crave PowerPack is on the same level as the power capacity because the power bank has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A Quick Charge ports. One USB-C PD port has an 18W charging rate, and the other has a 65W output. We recommend using the 65W USB-C port to charge your Tab S8 for faster charging and the 18W USB-C port to charge smaller devices such as phones.
Included in the box with the Crave power bank is a 45W USB-C Power Delivery wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. You can use the included wall charger to recharge the power bank and charge your Galaxy Tab S8 directly.
Since the Crave power bank has a 50,000mAh power capacity, the size of this charger is huge, likely the largest power bank that doesn’t use an AC outlet. You won’t be fitting this charger into your pocket, but it’s still easily portable and great for everyday usage, road trips, and camping.
