To charge your Oura Ring, follow these straightforward steps:

1. Unpacking: Open the box containing your Oura Ring, charging dock, and cable.
2. Connection: Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a wall charger and the USB-C end to the charging dock. If you have a USB-C charger, use a USB-C to USB-C cable instead.
3. Charging: Place the Oura Ring on the dock. A pulsing blue light on the dock indicates the ring is charging and ready to pair with your phone.
4. Pairing: Launch the Oura app and pair your ring with your phone. The light on the dock will shift from blue to white when the pairing is complete. For later charges, the indicator will pulse white.
5. Travel Consideration: Remember to bring the charging dock when traveling, as the Oura Ring cannot charge without it.
6. Charging Duration: It may take up to 80 minutes to fully charge the ring, but the initial charge may be quicker.
7. Charge Completion: A solid green light on the dock signals a full charge. Alternatively, check the charge status on the Oura app under the Home tab by tapping the two-circle icon at the top right.
