Neck fans are another way to use fans, and I welcome them to the market. The fan has already been a done deal when it comes to whole room types of fans, but seeing a fan that can go around your neck is pretty awesome to see.
I’m looking at this JisuLife Neck Fan Pro3 in this review. This one is an upgraded version of the Pro1 fan I reviewed, so let’s see how it holds up.
Performance
Included in the box with this Pro3 fan is a USB-C to USB-C charging and manual.
When it comes to power in comparison to the Pro 1 fan, this Pro3 has more air coming out. I did a printer paper test in a video review for this Pro3 fan against the Pro1 and found that the Pro3 can output more air to make the piece of paper move.
There are four air ducts and three turbines on the neck fan, so even at the low fan levels, there is a lot of air coming out, and one of the other better parts of this Pro3 is that more of the air hits your face. So even though more air is coming, you still have to deal with the noise level that comes switch increasing the fan speed.
If you want a balance of air and noise level, I recommend keeping it below 50%. If you have a fan over 50%, the noise level becomes pretty loud, and it can be impossible to hear what’s happening around you.
Also, one feature that this JisuLife Pro3 has over the Pro1 and that other neck brands don’t have is its Negative Ion feature. With the press of a button, you can turn on the Negative Ion feature on the fan, and it can filter the air that comes throughout the fan. This feature is supposed to make the air delivered to you clean and feel cooler; I didn’t find the Negative Ion feature to feel any different with it on or off.
This Pro 3 fan has a 6,000mAh battery, about 1,000mAh larger than the Pro 1, so you get a longer runtime. Also, recharging is faster, with an 18W fast recharge rate via its USB-C port.

Design
The physical form factor of the Pro 3 fan is a lot different than the Pro 1, as it’s more beefy, but at the same time, it’s very lightweight at only 14 ounces. You can change the tightness of the fan, and it can be suitable for exercise if you have it on tight enough.
The power button and dial placement are lacking on this Pro 3 fan because they are too high up and more difficult to access. There is a dial to adjust the fan speed and a screen that shows the battery capacity remaining and the fan speed. The Negative Ion feature has its power button.
Conclusion
Overall, the JisuLife Neck Fan Pro3 is a decent upgrade to its previous model because it outputs more air; I’m just not sure if the price increase is worth it solely because of the Negative Ion feature.
