In this review, Iโm looking at this NEWDERY 6600mAh USB-C mini power bank. This power bank is different than most because it uses a USB-C connector to charge from, so you can directly plug the power bank into your phone and not have to use a cable, but letโs take a closer look to see what itโs like to use this charger.

In the box, you’ll find the power bank itself, a USB-C to USB-A cable, a manual, and a carrying case that conveniently houses both the power bank and cable, ensuring you have everything you need for charging on the go.
Size and Capacity
Sized at just 3.1 inches in length, 2.3 inches in width, and 1.2 inches in thickness, and weighing only a few ounces, this power bank is designed for effortless transport, easily fitting into a pocket, purse, or backpack. Despite its small stature, it packs a 6600mAh battery capable of fully charging most phones at least once and possibly twice for those with smaller battery capacities. For devices like AirPods, you can expect around ten full charges, making this an excellent option for keeping your accessories topped up.

Charging Power
The built-in USB-C connector with a 10W charging speed and the USB-C port, which, interestingly, doubles as both an input and output port, provide versatile charging options. The ability to charge two devices simultaneouslyโvia the built-in connector and another through the USB-C portโis a standout feature that defies the common limitation of the input-only port in similar models.
Charging tests reveal efficient performance, with the power bank capable of standard and fast charging, depending on the device and connection used. In my output charging testing, I could fast charge my Galaxy Note 9 from the USB-C connector alone. Then, for the dual charging test, I could fast charge my Note 9 from the USB-C port and standard charge my LG G7 from the USB-C connector simultaneously.
The power bank itself can be recharged at 15W; in my case, I used a 65W wall charger, but a 20W wall charger for recharging will do just fine. However, you cannot use the USB-C connector to recharge the power bank, and this came as a surprise, considering similar power banks do have recharging options via the USB-C connector. Still, it’s fine, as you can always use the USB-C port for recharging.
Moreover, the pass-through charging feature is a notable addition, allowing you to charge your device while the power bank is recharged. This can be particularly useful during travel when outlet availability is limited. In my pass-through charging test, I recharged the power bank via its USB-C port and charged my Galaxy Note 9 via the USB-C connector.
