Power Delivery chargers are everywhere because most of the portable devices we use daily, such as tablets, laptops, and phones, are compatible with USB-C charging. Even for the iPhone, a phone that still uses a Lightning port, you can still use a USB-C charger to charge it as long as you use a USB-C to Lightning charging cable.

What’s in this review; we’re looking at this Quntis 30W Power Delivery wall charger that comes with a 2-in-1 USB-C to Lightning/USB-C charging cable. The wall charger is great, but what makes getting it worth it is the whole package because most wall chargers don’t come with a USB-C to Lightning cable.

Power

Output Charging:

The 30W Power Delivery output from the USB-C port is good enough to fast charge most phones and tablets on the market. In our case, we were able to fast Samsung Galaxy S20 from this Quntis wall charger and charge an Apple iPad 3 using the Lightning connector. When it comes to charging new model iPhones such as the iPhone X, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13, those phones will be able to charge at 20W, so this Quntis charger will fast charge them.

As for charging USB-C chargeable laptops, this wall charger is not too reliable because most laptops require that you use a charge rate higher than 30W. We did try to charge A Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, but that only charged at about 3W, but this was expected as the laptop doesn’t accept charging from a charger with an output lower than 45W.

Design

Size and Weight:

The size of the charger is tiny, with just 1.3-inch dimensions all around; it’s just a cube with a plug. So it’s easily portable, and the only part that would have made portability better would be a foldable plug, but because the charger is already so small, it’s not needed.

Functional Components:

Using the charger is just like using any other one; all you have to do is plug the charger into an outlet, and you’re ready to use it. There is no LED power light like many other chargers have; however, that’s not necessary as many consumers find a power light to be a disturbance while they sleep. The included 2 in 1 charging cable has one end that is only a USB-C connector, and the other end has a USB-C connector along with a detachable and connectable Lightning connector.

Even though one end has two connectors, you can still only charge one device simultaneously within this cable. It’s a great design that lets you charge Apple devices that use a Lightning port and can also charge USB-C devices. The included cable is 6.6 feet long, so it’s very convenient to use your devices while they’re charging.

Build

Structure and Material:

The build quality of this wall charger is excellent, and we couldn’t find any faults with the build in our test. The included charging cable also has excellent quality because it’s rated up to 25,000 bends, so it won’t tear and break like some of Apple’s original cables.

Tech:

This charger does use GaN, which allows the charger to be smaller and still output 30W of Power Delivery. The charger may only get a little warm; that’s what we experienced in our tests of the charger, which is entirely normal.

Reliability

If you need a small, fast charger for your phone, then this Quntis 30W GaN wall charger is a good choice. It can fast charge your phone and come with a 2-in-1 charging cable that can charge any phone, including Android and iPhones. The 30W charge rate can also be great to use with tablets, but this wall charger is not reliable for charging laptops as the charging power is not enough for most laptops.

Build:

The build of the charger and the included cable is strong. We’re more surprised by the build quality of the cable because usually included cables with wall chargers don’t have good quality, but this is an exception, with the 2-in-1 cable being surprisingly well built.

Reliability:

Since you’re getting 2 in 1 charging cable that can be used as a USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-C to Lightning cable, and the charger has a 30W Power Delivery output; if you require fast charging a phone or a tablet, then this Quntis wall charger will be very reliable.

Conclusion:

The Quntis 30W fast wall charger is an excellent mini charger that is more reliable with a well built 2 in 1 charging cable that can be changed into a USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-C to Lightning cable, which lets you charge Apple Lightning port devices, as well as USB-C chargeable phones and tablets.
