Best Power Banks for Nintendo Switch Lite in 2024

(Last Updated On: January 9, 2024)

The original Nintendo Switch’s unique feature was its ability to play games both on the device and on TV. The Nintendo Switch Lite, designed for handheld mode only, offers the same gaming experience but cannot connect to a TV. It’s more affordable and caters to those preferring a purely portable console. Given its portability, a compatible power bank is essential. A minimum of 12W charging speed is recommended, with USB-C Power Delivery power banks being the best choice for optimal charging. The Switch Lite has a 3,570mAh battery, relatively small, necessitating a high-capacity charger for multiple full charges.

Baseus 65W PD 20,000mAh Power Bank

This Baseus 65W PD power bank has more than enough charging power for charging the Switch at max speed. Even if you’re charging the Switch Lite from the USB-C port, you can charge additional devices from the USB-A ports. When charging other devices, the USB-C port goes from a 65W to 45W charging speed, and that’s still more than enough to fast charge the Switch Lite.

The 20,000mAh power capacity can also get the Switch Lite back to full power about three to four times, so gaming time is extended drastically. For a deeper understanding of this power bank, read my review article.

INIU B63 25,000mAh 65W PD Power Bank

The INIU 65W PD power bank is similar to the previous Baseus power bank, with the INIU one having a 65W Power Delivery port. However, this power bank features two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port.

One of the USB-C ports can output 65W, and the other can output 30W. The USB-A port can output 22.5W. So charging power is not a problem, and you can fast charge your Switch Lite from any of the ports. The 25,000mAh capacity will also last a long time by providing about four full charges for the Switch Lite, so you won’t have to recharge it anytime soon, even after using it once. Baseus Blade 100W PD Power Bank

The Basues Blade power bank is one of my most recommended power banks because it has a 100W Power Delivery output. Yes, that’s more than enough for charging the Switch Lite, and this much charging power can be used to charge nearly any USB-C-chargeable laptop, phone, or tablet. So this is the only power bank you could ever need in general.

The screen at the top of the power bank is a unique design that shows the Voltage and Amperage; this is something not many power banks feature. Although, I do think that the screen showing the total wattage output would have been better. Also, the name of this power bank fits the size because it has a slim form factor that won’t fit into your pocket, but it’s nice to have such a slim 20,000mAh 65W PD power bank. iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank

The iWalk Link power bank is a bit of a difficult one to recommend because of its power, but the design of this power bank makes it a must to recommend. The iWalk LinkPod has a 4,800mAh battery capacity, so charging for your Switch Lite will give many more hours of gaming, but a full charge may be just out of reach.

The charging power is not the highest, with the power bank having an 18W Power Delivery output. That said, Switch Lite charging caps at about 20W, so charging isn’t too slow. What makes this LinkPod worth getting is the design because it uses a built-in USB-C connector that lets you plug the power bank into your Switch Lite and continue gaming.

There is no need for a cable with this power bank because you can plug it directly into a wall charger to recharge it. The compact design can easily fit into your pocket, making it a great on-the-go power bank for the Switch Lite. INIU B2 10,000mAh 15W Power Bank

One other INIU power bank I wanted to recommend, this one, has a 10,000mAh capacity, which is considerably less battery capacity than the INIU 25,000mAh. Still, this one does come at a lower cost. Also, a 10,000mAh capacity is still good for charging the Switch Lite to full power about two times.

Charging is done from three ports: a single USB-A port and two USB-C ports. The maximum output of this power bank is 15W, so I recommend charging the Switch Lite alone to make the most of the charging power. Also, the design of this INIU power bank is neat because it comes with special cables that let you store them inside the power bank for easier portability. A pretty plain power bank, but it gets the job done. Get a comprehensive look at this power bank’s capabilities in my extensive review article or through my video review.

iWalk LinkPod Y2 Built-in USB-C cable Power Bank

This iWalk LinkPod Y2 power bank is similar to the other one I recommended, but this one has a built-in USB-C cable, not just a connector. The built-in cable has an 18W PD charging speed, so that’s a decent charge rate for the Switch Lite. The 9,600mAh capacity is enough to get the Switch back to full power once or twice.

You also don’t need a cable for recharging because the built-in cable can be plugged into a wall charger to recharge the power bank. For a deeper understanding of this power bank, read my review article or watch my video review.

PowerAdd Pro 10,000mAh 20W PD Power Bank

The PowerAdd Pro 10,000mAh power bank may as well be a default charger for all your small portable devices. That’s because it has a good amount of capacity that can keep your Switch charged up for many more hours of runtime, and it has a 20W PD port that can charge your Switch Lite at max speed.

This PowerAdd Pro power bank is also tiny, with its slim form factor making it easy to slide into your pocket. Explore the features and performance of this power bank in my detailed review article or video review.

ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh 18W PD Power Bank

The ROMOSS PEA30 power bank fits perfectly into charging the Switch Lite because of its 30W Power Delivery output for maximum charging of the gaming console. At the same time, the power bank has a 30,000mAh capacity that can charge up the Switch many times; you can go a while without having to recharge this power bank if you’re only using it to recharge your Switch.
