In the world of wall chargers, there are many things to account for. This is because a USB Wall Charger is one of the most used charging electronics and it’s supposed to be one of the best powerful ones that you use as well.

USB wall chargers can have all the charging tech that is available on the market and this means that they can have USB-C, Quick Charge, and any other charging technology simply because they’re so stationary and they don’t hold their own power source like power banks do.

Then there’s variation and standardization that comes with these highly elite electronics, and in this case, we’re talking about this AllMaybe 6-Port wall charger; it does indeed have 6 Ports, so let’s see what it can do and why it’s perfect for your daily charging lifestyle.

Power

Output Charging:

One of the most apparent things with the best of wall chargers is their powering capabilities. USB wall chargers are supposed to be powerful and that kind of aspect isn’t any different here. This AllMaybe 6-Port wall charger has 6 charging ports, and yes, this means that you can charge 6 devices at the same time. However, it’s great to charge 6 devices at once, it also depends on what the experience will be like when you charge those 6 devices all at once.

It’s Able to Output lots of power. Individually, and All together.

With that said, there’s really no need to worry about it giving out power and this is mainly because the AllMaybe’s Wall charger has top-tier charging power. Each of the USB Ports is able to Output 2.4 Amps of power, and that is the Max Standard charging speed. You can charge devices from iPads to smartphones at their max charging speeds.

Although you can’t charge Quick Charge compatible smartphones at their max charging speed since this wall charger does not have Quick Charge but it can still charge those devices pretty quickly as well.

Not only is the individual charging speed of the charging ports impressive, what’s also impressive is the max Output. The Max Output of the USB wall charger is 12 Amps. So you can’t charge 6 devices all at once with them all charging at 2.4 Amps charging rate, but you can charge 6 devices at once with them all having a charging speed of 2 Amps each.

This is because if 6 devices were to charge all once with 2.4 Amps of power each, then that would make the Output of 14.4, but the max Output is 12 Amps.

Instead, if you’re maxing it out, the USB wall charger will only be able to Output 2 Amps out of each port because the total Amp current will sum up to 12 Amps. Even with each of the ports Outputting 2 Amps, that’s still enough power to charge most smartphones at their max charging speed and even tablets will charge fast enough.

Overall, there’s nothing wrong with the powering capabilities, since you can very well charge 5 iPads at the same time and have them all charge at their max charging speeds.

Design

Size and Weight

Initially, you might think that a USB wall charger with 6 charging ports is going to be large and cumbersome but the truth is that at its base, this wall charger can actually be very portable.

It has a length of 3.9 inches, a width of 3.1 inches and a thickness of 1.1 inches. So it’s actually really small and it weighs only 7 ounces. Overall, at its base, the wall charger without its power cord isn’t something that is cumbersome because it’s basically a small cube.

It’s when you add in the power cord and the charging cables are when you get into territory that makes the wall charger quite messy.

Functional Components

What we mean by messy is that there can be a lot of charging cables used with this wall charger. It doesn’t have built-in plug pins, so a power cord is used.

If you plan on traveling with it, then it’s best to either keep the power cord plugged into the wall charge and simply wrap it around the wall charger itself. Or you could just keep the wall charger and the power cord separate.

Then there’s the nature of the wall charger itself with it having 6 charging ports. If you plug in 6 charging cables all at once, the cables can look quite messy but honestly, this is something to be expected. If you want to move the wall charger around with 6 charging cables within it, then it’s best to be careful so you don’t damage the charging cables.

All of the 6 Ports are on a single side, and we wish that the ports have some space between them for more organization but the ports being very close together make the wall charger itself very small. Overall, it’s an absolutely stellar wall charger that you can easily place onto your computer desk and have various devices charging at once.

When the wall charger is plugged into an outlet it has a Blue LED light that turns on regardless if any cables are connected to it or not. It’s not that bright to be obstructive while you’re sleeping, so that’s nice.

Build

Structure and Material

It’s a wall charger and there’s really not much to say about the structure and material of its build. This is because this isn’t like a power bank where you’d take it with you and have a chance of it falling and damaging itself.

With that said, the physical structure is very well put together with its near uni-body structure. The base material is made of plastic and it’s enveloped in rubber that keeps the wall charger safe. Other than that, there’s not much to it. you can take it with you for traveling purposes and it shouldn’t have any problems holding up.

Tech

On the tech side, the wall charger has a Multi-Faceted protection system, and this is very important to have when you have the ability to charge 6 devices at once.

The AllMaybe wall charger features Voltage/Current control, Surge/Short-Circuit protection, Temperature control and the ability to reset itself if things get too heated.

With all that said, though, when you’re charging about 4 devices or more at the same time and you’re charging them quickly, then the USB wall charger can send out this very low hissing noise. This can be bothersome if you’re charging many devices at once while you’re trying to sleep.

Reliability

Of course, it’s going to be reliable! It has 6 charging ports and each of them is able to charge at 2.4 Amps. The best part is the max Output of 12 Amps and this means that you can still charge devices at a very fast charging rate even when the Max Output has been reached.

The only thing that we find unreliable, is the amount of chaos that can ensue when you’re charging 6 devices at once because all the charging cables look very messy and things can get tangled up. We think that more spacing between the charging ports would make the organization much better.

Summary

Power:

Charging power matches other 6-Port wall chargers and that is a good thing. This AllMaybe one is able to Output 2.4 Amps of charging speed throughout each of its ports.

Even when the Max Output of 12 Amps is reached, and each port is limited to 2 Amps, the charging speed is still enough to charge most devices very quickly. By the way, the ability to charge 6 devices at once is amazing.

Design:

When you discount the charging cables and the power cord, the wall charger itself is very small. It won’t really pose many problems if you want to travel with it and we think that the only design flaw is the charging ports being so close to each other.

Build:

The structure and tech are great with the wall charger using fire-resistant material and plenty of safety to keep you and your devices safe during charging. It does make a slight hissing noise when you’re charging many devices at once, though.

Reliability:

Reliability is at an all-time high because you can charge 6 devices at once.
