At Charger Harbor we believe in quality over quantity and that’s because the most vital parts of a power bank are the parts that nobody thinks about when they’re going to purchase a power bank and that is bad.
Since a power bank can boast a high power capacity and how it can charge devices multiple times to their full power and yet the charging speeds of its USB ports are very slow.
Knowing the specifications and not knowing the specifications will be the difference between owning a power bank that you find great versus it being mediocre.
This is the JENTXON power bank and it has a 20,000mAh power and most people are just amazed by its power capacity that they might just go ahead and purchase it, but that can be a mistake because the power bank has quite a few flaws with its other powering options that may make you think twice about purchasing this power bank.

In the end, the power bank will have an Output power capacity of 14,800mAh and that means you’re able to charge lots of devices to their full power. Smartphones will have no problem charging to their full power with this power bank.
Even the high-capacity smartphones such as a Galaxy S8 can charge to their full power about 4.5 times, an iPhone 7 can charge to its full power 7 full times and a Google Pixel can charge to its full power 5 times.
If you plan on charging a smartphone only with this power bank, then there will be no shortage of power as it can last for days with just a single charge.
Power Capacity for Tablets
The power bank also has no problems when it comes to charging tablets because tablets such as the iPad Mini 2 or 4 and iPad Air can charge to their full power capacities about two times.
Output Charging:
There are two USB ports on the power bank and each of them has a charging speed of 5V/1.0A and the Max Output of the power bank is 2 Amps overall.
This is what we meant by looking at the specifications of the power bank is a vital thing to do because the charging speeds of this power bank are not at the level that they should be when it comes to high capacity power banks.
Since a charging speed of 5V/1.0A is not able to charge most devices at their max charging speeds because most newer devices can charge within the 2 Amp range and there are lots of smartphones that are compatible with Quick Charge. Both of those things that this power bank does not have.
When it comes to charging speeds this power bank does a mediocre job and it would do well by having an upgrade with each port having a charging speed of 5V/2.0A and the Max Output being 4 Amps because that way you’d be able to use somewhat fast charging speeds at the same time then.
Input Charging:
The JENTXON power bank uses a Micro-USB Input port to recharge and it has a 5V/2.0A recharging speed. If you’re using a 2 Amp USB wall charger or higher then the power bank can recharge to full power within 5-6 hours.
Design
Size and Weight:
The power bank is quite large and heavy, but it can practically be taken anywhere. However, it does have its limitations.
This power bank has a length of 6.4 inches, a width of 3.1 inches, and a thickness of 1 inch. The weight of the charger is 14.7 ounces. So it’s not going to fit into a pocket and it’s quite heavy. You can still take this charger anywhere that you want, it’s just that most of the time you’re going to be setting it down and charging your devices because of its bulkiness.
Functional Components:
Nearly all of the functional parts of the power bank are on a single side: On the short is where you’ll find 2 USB ports, a flashlight, and a Micro-USB input port. On the long side is where the power button is and on top of the power bank is where there are 4 Blue LED power capacity indicators.
You must press the power button for charging to start and you can hold down the power button to turn on the LED flashlight. Holding down the power button again while the flashlight is on will turn it off.

Build
Structure and Material:
The build quality of the power bank is good and that’s because it has a plastic casing that makes it fireproof and it’s also drop resistant.
Tech:
The tech that comes with the JENTXON power bank is nothing special because it doesn’t make use of any special charging technologies. At least the power bank doesn’t have any heating issues when you’re charging two devices at once and you can even use Pass-Through Charging with this power bank.
Reliability
It’s a reliable enough power bank but it has its flaws when it comes to its charging power because each of the two ports has a charging speed of 5V/1.0A and most devices can charge faster than that. High capacity power banks, in general, are supposed to have faster charging speeds than low power capacity chargers.
That’s not the case here, so if you want your smartphone or any other device to charge at its max power then the JENTXON power bank is not reliable for that.
